But i'm sure you will magically turn around your game and "Show us Illum farmers how to really PvP" now that you also have awesome gear. *rolls eyes*

Go get your participation medals and wellfare gear then come back here and cry when you still suck.
Yes. That's what nerds do. They turn to steroids.

/boggle

I'm pretty sure they actually hop on computers and make ridiculous forum posts, then hope that rolling pugs in a battlemaster premade will make them feel better :|
Relax, guys. It's just a game!

So NO im certinaly not worried about seeing you there. lmao.

You fail to understand that my 4 man premade pretty much rolls every other full warhero/bm premade on the server 90% of the time someting which you will never be able to say. Full BM or Not.
Uh, huh. Sure.

If you and your team are such ******es, why does this thread exist and why are you complaining?

I can read you like a book dude.

You're scared.

Gear treadmills break any semblance of real pvp by introducing an artificial advantage to players based on time played, rather than revolving purely around skill.

That said, creating a gear treadmill, then setting that treadmill on fire by making gear exceptionally easy to obtain, is several tiers of stupid game design.

Nothing happend, we have a Conquerer (level 80) on Ahto City called Arnodoot. He farmed everywhere and now thinks he is a good player.

Any true PvPer will enjoy the fact that everyone will easily be on equal gear levels, so that it comes closer to a skill vs skill environment, and not an item vs item environment. Anyone who says differently relies on items as a crutch.

Plain and simple. There's no way around this. I was the 4th BM Repub side on my server, and I cannot be more happy that more people are getting BM gear so that it becomes a test of skill, and less about items.

So...

Why not just take out gear?

Why even have gear progression if it takes a week to get the gear.

This doesnt HAVE to be the easiest game ever made. It just is.

Because Bioware/EA doesnt care what happens after 3 months when they double their investment.

Want some cheese with that whine? Need some hugs? Someone so confident about his/her skills shouldn't be whining about, noobs/casual/scrubs getting BM gear.

On a side note, funny the challenge is about premades and not 1 v 1, maybe not so confident about your skills alone?

I always suspected BioWare to be secret communist eco terrorist big corporation conspirators.

I mean, they are a corporation, right. And the Canadian flag has a Maple leaf in it, a mapel LEAF ( it's even CALLED Maple leaf flag sometimes !! ) and it's red, like the Sovjet Star and flag !

What more proof do you need !?

As a gamer, I'm caught squarely between wanting an equal playing field where skill can shine, and wanting progression and gear acquisition to be meaningful.

The fact is, they never should have attached gear progression to pvp in the first place. But while it exists, having the difficulty of progression trivialized to such an extent makes me ask, "Well, why the hell did you bother in the first place??"

It's horrendous design from multiple perspectives, and it makes me weep for the future of the genre.
