2 nights to get your individual handicap, then carry on, its not rocket science

all you said was i couldnt go to me local lane and join a league with random people

sure i can, easy.

Lol why should the ranking be any different? Not all pugs are bad, and honestly it shows more skill when a bunch of pugs and work together for wins.

The thing of it is ranks just on win/loss are lame. That works for just a team, but since teams are inconsistent (different players) its flawed.

In this format its best to rank individuals, and to do that you can't base it just off wins and losses, but also weighted scores (with objective points carrying the most weight) to judge players effectiveness in combat. However that's far to complicated and no way will BW even attempt that so its back to win/loss and people being carried by good teams. The more I think about it the.more pointless ranked pvp starts sounding, they simply don't have enough structure.

Wait, so, did they actually say you need to register a team for ranked WZs? (like arena teams in WoW)?

If not, then put a *********** pug together with all the other solo q'ers, q for ranked and quit ************.

What would be epic, amazing, awesome, and really cool is if bioware would clue us in instead of making us play the mutli guess carrot game.

All we know is the pre-season, some type of rating and new ways to get gear are coming.

All I can do is look at wow and assume to get more of the same.

If that happens I quit, to put it bluntly.

I did post this in another thread aswell....

Iam all for competetive pvp in Battlegrounds but I think it is wrong that single queue players have to fight against full premade teams. This is not a true competition anymore thats just a big disadvantage and Iam sure most agree here, since it is just logical.

Already the option to group up with 4 guild friends should be enough, but a whole 8 team is not the way I want to see fighting against unorganized players.

I did read in another thread that organized teams would even get an advantage in gear, not sure if this is true but that would be an additional step which work against casuals, lonewulf players or just players who are currently not in any organized team playing battlegrounds.

The game should stay comeptetive but not go easy mode with a certain setup.

Real competition should not be based on other peoples expense, competition in higher leagues should be based on skill, organised groups and not against pugs. Pugs are pugs and premades are premades. If someone want to play some kind of e-sport, let them have their own WZG for it with a competetive setup.

You're probably right. I bet they won't say anything about it before it gets released to live. We'll have no idea and there won't be 3187540734502 threads about the specifics of it on this very forum 2 minutes after the notes go up on the PTR.

If they have an ounce of sense, they'll give the premade players better gear that scales back down to the best a pug player can have when the wearer enters a pug match.

Sorry I won't be wasting any time on the PTR until I can clone a toon or start at 50. Developers plan things, make diagrams, and all kinds of things before it hits PTR, lets see some of it.

I said this in another thread, but I won't be holding my breath. I doubt they will bother it is just, par for the course, this game isn't trying to make the game industry better or make a "better" game this is a cash in game. It has compelling aspects but nothing game changing including the return of "epic final fantasy level wastes of time"
