Edit: Ooooh, you're talking about this game. Yea, you probably have beaten me because I pretty much always solo queue. Either that or duo queue with my boyfriend. However when rated warzones come out, there is no way in hell I am going to solo queue. Relying on pugs to not be retarded and guard the door that everyone is attacking while I solo guard the door that no one is at, is one thing. Giving them that much responsibility in a rated match is something completely different.

Well if you guys get what you want, I won't have the chance to play against premades so we will never know. No one is telling you to Solo Q in rated if you dont want to. They are saying I cant solo Q.

This is all based on hypothetical assumptions from one paragraph of an interview.
The interveiw didn't at all imply that you could not solo q for ranked warzones.
Additionally while it seems logical that there will be better gear from ranked, we have no actual information about what it is or how much better it will be than battlemaster. I would expect somethign akin to the improvment from champion to battlemaster. It's nice but a pretty moderate increase, an icnrease that is definately not enough to prevent champions from competing against BM. I would also expect that BM will have no problem competign against whatever the new ranked gear ends up being.

If you look at swtor design as a whole it is pretty friendly towards casuals and solo players. I doubt they would buck this trend and not have solo q for ranked. However premades will still benefit more form new ranked gear than solo q would, thats just how it goes. This however will apparently not be a problem for OP and his mad skills.

What happens if the 8 man PuG forms a guild and is now a premade? Are miraculously elite like you? No. Premade or Pug means nothing. If an elite like you joins a Pug do you get bad?

so, how many team competition leagues have you participated in where you didn't actually need a team be able to compete? if i show up to the local bowling alley on league night do you think they'll just be like "ok, here's some random other people, just stand next to them and call it a "team" and you can compete..."
