Premades getting a crutch to help them

this was necessary because they are adding entry level pvp gear, so they had to increase the gear gap to make sure the items they introduced to lessen the gear gap are useless.
x-server lfd tools are great for cramming people into content, but quality > quantity.

I love the assumptions your percentage makes. This game isn't difficult, nor is the PvP. Many will enjoy the benefits of rated gear. I see your point, I just reject it.

If you are winning 1V2 against any 50's you may be the best player cross server.

qft ^^^^^
Two there should be; no more, no less. One to embody the power, the other to crave it.

how are premades being punished by us not having to play against them? if there are as many as you claim on your leet pvp servers .. queues wont change .. only your ability to steamroll people you have no business being in the same league as.

do beer softball teams take on the NY Yankees? Of course not.

This is actually a whine by Premades to not let pug pvp play against them. Not sure what you are talking about. Some people want to solo Q against the premades. You have this thread backwards

Pugs beat premades all the time.
Your analogy only works in the imagination of the premade, not reality.

the example i like to use is. "even if the beer softball team takes on the NY Yankees. do the Yankees get bigger bats? or do both teams head out with access to the same gear?"

Yeah if this is the way ranked is going to work casuals are just gonna quit the game in droves. Not worth sticking around when the organized players get even more of an advantage with superior gear. The rich get richer and all that. If these "veteran PvP developers" had a clue what they were doing, they would separate ranked into premade and solo. Players would have individual ratings which would allow them to be stacked up against similar competition in either bracket. That way skilled players who don't have the time to schedule with 7 other people can actually progress in PvP and not just get frustrated and quit. I'd prefer to actually have a variety of players to PvP against instead of the few hardcore people who will stay. And this is coming from someone who will be running a premade.

Let me see if I have your logic correct. They are adding entry level pvp gear so there isn't this gaping gap between fresh 50's and champion/BM geared players, and thus bring about more enjoyable play for everyone.

But then they are also going to add higher end rated PvP gear, to create yet another gap between the entry lvl players who finally acquired their champ/BM gear and rated players with full rated gear, just so they can be like fresh 50's in the rated bracket? If I got this wrong please flame the hell out of me, but to me it's simply the definition of insanity.
