Make friends or join a guild. You must have horrible social skills if you can't do this.

Rated WZ gear should only function as normal WZ gear in normal WZs. Do that and I don't see the problem.

When you start letting people roflstomp regular WZ players in their rated WZ gear you have a problem.

A team will have a rank, a player will have their own rank. Both would have to meet the gear criteria or AT LEAST the individual ranking.

Ranked players in ranked WZ's want higher end ranked gear. Fair enough. However, this game from the very beginning, boasted a solo experience that would not be overly trumped by group play. And this is the pit were falling into. There are individuals who find pleasure and satisfaction by being fantastic at an online game, and this more often then not leads to an elitist mentality that alienates others in the community.

In turn this does nothing to bolster the community, rather it causes it to decay. But I digress. If you support this change, as any individual that has the immense amount of time on their hands to build consistent competitive premade groups with others of like lifestyles, then I feel you should Not be able to que for non-ranked WZ matches in your ranked WZ gear.

Don't feed me the line that you're better at this game than me, or have more friends, or simply not much going on outside of the game, in effect giving you more time to play said game with premades consistently, that you should be able to take your better gear from a different playing field, and then proceed to poop all over casual gamers.

In essence please get off your high horses. This is coming from a guy that found it astounding in periods of time in WoW, that I could use my 2200 rated gear and **** all over people in BG's and low end arenas.

I'm all for making more friends too. But guess what the easiest way to make friends with other competitive players is... Meeting them in a ranked pug, look at that.

Bottom line is there is no reasonable explanation to -not- allow solo Q'ING, especially if they made 2 #different ladders.
2 different ladders? IE: one for solo one for premades? I already wait 5-10 minutes for queues right now in unranked. Imagine having 3 queues AND the ability to queue into specific warzones. You're looking at 1+ hour queues. WONT HAPPEN.

No, you have WoW.
Two there should be; no more, no less. One to embody the power, the other to crave it.

I'm not wrong I'm right because I was one of those elite doornobs in wow before I got a life outside of the game and I'm still good friends with a lot of very high end gamers.

The elite players want to have the best titles, best gear, and highest ranking. End of story... vanity items are worth nothing to an elite gamer.

I never said it was a good idea nor that that's what I want. But the point is unless that is what you want to have to deal with and BW wants to keep subs then they need to allow solo Qs as normal even for ranked.

I don't understand the mentality of people who want everything perfectly fair, all the time, no matter what.

"if they have better gear then me, then nerf them to the same stats." Seriously? What would be the point of good gear if everyone got a complementary nerf bat attack every time they que'd.

From that line of thought, why even have gear with stats? Just have a set of stats for every class and spec, and that's what they get. No progression or better gear....just looks and needless grinding.

....... of course they want the best items. but do these "elite gamers" really want to spend time roflstomping new players solely due to gear? I don't know about you but i don't consider someone who actually argues for an uneven playing field an "elite gamer". maybe more of a "teen ager?"
