Developer stated that they would have entry level specific pvp gear, IMO that makes it safe to assume their is also going to be a seperate set of gear for for Top tier of PVP players.

Following that logic why give rewards to raid groups that down bosses? All they did is make a group like you are saying with premades.

Huh? I said dont take the reward away from a PuG that takes down the exact same boss. They both (PUG and Premade) get the reward. The reward is for taking down the boss not for organizing the event.

You will not make a logical argument against me. I make perfect sense.

This makes no sense. If the premades are so big and bad why do they need better gear than the solo Q'ers. This is idiotic.

This new system should be explained before release so it can be discussed. Why release it without explaining it and then patch it five times.
So this is just a huge failure in interpretation and assumptions.

Nothing was said about better gear. Only different commendations.
Nothing was said about premades being the only ones who can queue for ranked warzones.

As such, this ENTIRE post/thread is complete heresy and a fail.

Special titles, mounts, armor dye or pets I could understand. Vanity items to show off at fleet. Better gear? That's just dumb. Different skinned gear, ok sure. Better stats, nope.

One bad thing about PvP is that it's not tiered once you hit 50. Everyone will be in the same pool of people in a queue, so the guy who has been playing the same character every day for the last two years will be playing against the guy that just hit 50.

PvP has a way of destroying a game and only leaving the 'elite' guys. That's not the best way to try to keep a game with millions of subs. Most of the 'PvP sucks and I quit' posts are another way of saying 'I can't compete with the big boys so I give up.'

Not that there's any fix for this. People expect gear for playing and expect to be able to PvP 24/7. There's just not enough players to match people up by gear in any online game.

We know that many of the guys who PvP in ranked matches will be giddy with excitment when they get to take that gear and go back to the regular PvP and stomp casuals until they /ragequit.

You missed the point. They have no said it's BETTER gear it's just a different set (although it should be better gear). The point of Ranked Warzones is to rank the top tier players. This system should alleviate some of the premade QQ in non-ranked warzones.

That being said you are beating a dead horse. If you want top tier gear you need to compete for it. I would happily roll my 8-man premade over anything you will be queued solo for in ranked games.

Maybe they are wrong but that is how it seems like it will be working.
In that thread the only idea I saw "no one knows yet"

You say this, as if it was actually in the game this way. As far as I can tell this feature is not yet on the PTS, and therefore no one in this forum knows the answer. At least no one, that is allowed to talk about it...
I did not know if anyone actually had cited info one way or another or just comparing it to how other games did it.

The problem I'm predicting with full pre-mades vs pre-mades is the queues will be excessive long. It's easier to pull together 3 people for a group, but getting 8 is more difficult unless you're an exclusive PvP guild.
