and really, the "tank and spank loot pinata" that you're talking about actually have mechanics beyond "dps before it hits enrage" ... which seems to be the standard TOR mechanic.
Like i said save for staff farming they are all obsolete.

Also most bosses still have enrage timers, they are just so easy to beat (and some cleverly disguised) most people forget they are even there.

That's coming form the 1%ers and their wannabe groupies.

Also believing people on these troll infested forums is comical, and I almost feel sorry for you.

Unless you happen to play a class that isn't one of the "chosen ones" arenas are a completed failure.

And hopefully will never show up in this game.

This might be a shock to you but ToR is aimed directly at the casual crowd, and they have the jump on WoW because they included the three difficulties right off the bat.

the one good thing that I like in WoW is that when leveling, you actually have several maps you can choose from, unlike in SWTOR right now where all your toons will go through the same sequence of maps while going for 50.

Blizzard laid off 600 employees; not WoW. WoW is just one game that Blizzard sells. Blizzard was mostly a small company which suddenly hit big because of massive successes of all 3 of their major franchises. And now they have plateaued. Hence need to trim the fat. Read Mike Morheim's press release. Most of their cut backs are on non development region.

Wow Has had 7 years to put that content out. If you think about it That content is lacking since before Wrath of the lich king on release. Do you know why they brought out the sunwell Patch....because people were farming BT easily face rolling an Ex Demon-Hunter. Try an tell me their content is hard when they had to come out with a content patch before releasing an actual game expansion just to satisfy people.
Do, or do not...There is no try

This list is completely bunk. I can pick out anything, IN ANY GAME, and start saying other games don't have it.

Its not about what the game has, its about how the game flows together and how it works.

If you want, I will create a list of items longer than that of things TOR has that WoW doesn't. But it won't mean anything, its just a list.

This has to be one of the worst arguments, ever. You can't just make a list. A list means squat.

At this point, I think quite a number of people are still playing WoW because they have friends still playing WoW or they just do not want to start over in a new game.

Ultimately, I don't think this conversation really matters. The numbers are what they are.

WoW is pushing almost 2 million in subscription losses - many before TOR even launched.
Blizzard is laying off employees.

^ Both of those facts point toward WoW losing steam. I'm not saying it's going to die anytime soon. I fully expect WoW to be around, like EQ1 is, for another decade. I do think it's going to lose the "largest MMO" title within the next couple years though. I don't think Pandaland has gotten the interest Blizzard hoped it would.

Note: I am in no way saying TOR will take over that spot.

I gotta say, that was a great exhaustive list! Now some of those things I wouldn't expect to be a necessity on day one... but some of them I think should have been... my picks:

Weapon choices
Crafting professions that matter
Economy that works

Bilzzard is WoW, and them laying 600+ people tells me is that either A) WoW took a bigger hit from SWTOR than they've admitted publicly, or they're bleeding WoW subscribers in a significant amount; and or B) Blizzard is about to take a big financial hit/loss from something in the very near future, hence the pre-emptive lay offs.
