Ahhhh... I see now. Well guess what... if I'm going into something ranked, like hell am I taking some random people into it with me. I want a group of people who know what they are doing and won't drag the team down with whatever "strategy" they think is better.

My huttball games won't have random people fighting in the pit for no reason. My Civil War and Voidstar will have people actually paying attention to the turrets/doors and calling for help.

You may very well be the best pvp'er on your server... but I'm still not accept you as a random entry into my group that has everything meshed well together. Now if you want to get in my group, I'd be sure to give a person a test run and see how good they are at teamwork and listening to directions.

I'm not pugging anything ranked. Sorry. Find friends.

I agree. If people cant compete with premades then they dont get the gear. In the end, people will start making premades to compete and we will get better overall competition. Most will not compete and will cry about premades.

I dont cry about premades, or about or sorcs or about this class being OP, I compete.

Wow. Whoosh. This guy here doesn't even slightly understand it.

It's actually the complete opposite mister Skitlz, it's more like a guild group being rewarded with extra goodies for killing the same mobs in an op as a pug group, simply because they are all of the same guild.

Other than having two different types of commendations, I can't seem to find any evidence confirming that there will be different tiers of gear, and even if there is, that the only way to obtain them is through Ranked WZs. They may copycat WoW in implementing a rating cap on some of the more prolific pieces just like WoW.

We shall see.

I am the 1% you lose to. Nice to meet you.
Now you will get better gear so you wont have the option of losing, gratz.

If they make the gear so that rated pvp gear is the same as non rated pvp gear in a non rated pvp match and is only buffed in a rated pvp match then it will be fine.

Otherwise, its a realy dumb idea.

People will 'play with friends' in unrated matches in their rated gear so they can owned people and think its their skill and not the gearmaking the difference. Premade stacks are the scum of the universe, when they lie about their reason for stacking.

If you are indeed so amazing and pro that you carry any group of random pugs to victory, a slight gear disadvantage ain't gonna stop you.

Scaling in this game is very slight anyways.
