This game lacks epeen

Nowhere in my OP did I complain about macros.........or the tons of other basic features this game is missing. That is a completely different issue. An important one, but not relevant to this thread.

The "hardcore" crowd is really not needed in any games.

Catering to them is useless because they are so high maintenance.
Want this, want that, whine about this and that and they all pay the same $15.
Make the game too hard and they whine.
Make it easy and they whine.

"Hardcores" think that everyone, including casuals, look up to them which is nothing further from the truth.
No one cares about the hardcores.

If a game truely caters to the hardcore, their subscription numbers will drop like a rock.
The hardcore will bail to another MMO like GW2 as soon as it comes out.

The most successful games are the casual games
e.g. Angry Birds, Farmville

And Rift had all those functions , still didn´t keep the hardcore gamers ...

So basically yeah lack of epeen in this game .
But then again who cares about Epeen , wasn´t this game suppose to be made for FUN .
And while yes agree the FUN is not 100% there yet .

IF people are not having fun , logging in 1-2 times a week just for raiding so they can get there epeen meters up .
Well then basically WoW caters to that , so you pay 15 a month just to raid 8 days a month .
Well I rather pay 15 a month , for something I enjoy without having to work .

Are you kidding me? No one complains more than casuals.
"QQ this is too hard"
"QQ I want everything handed to me in a game genre designed around progression"
"QQ classes x,y, and z are overpowered"

You could have just said that epeen means nothing to you. The rest of your post doesn't add anything to the conversation and only makes it look like you quested/leveled extremely ineffectively.

I can honestly say that this thread and the conversations within are completely lost on you.

Here is a solution to keep hardcore bussy , throw a super impossible boss .. let them go grind 350 days of daily .

Then they can get a fat legendary/title that is only 1 per server , first kill first come .
Make sure it is exploit proof and see how fast they can get it ...

Always somebody willing to grind it out for that epeen .
So NO need for RNG , just straight forward GRIND .

I did just fine without videos, websites, stats from others, specs in wow, or any real addons in wow at all for the past 6 1/2 years before this game. I can do without all of that nonesense now. The day this turns into a numbers game is the day I quit this "Hobby" as that is all it is to me is a hobby, not some epeen comparison.

Good. E-peen crap should die in a fire and be forgotten with all due haste like the adolescent idiocy it is accurately namesaked after.

There do exist other ways to generate motivation and interest. Reliance upon childish envy as the backbone of anything is quite possibly the root of why these game communities tend to wind up toxic poo-slinging hives of glorified stupidity and arrogant me-me-me'ism.

And I, for one, think we could certainly afford, in these modern times, to at least try to appeal to a higher standard of stupidity than that of celebrated e-peen rubbish since outright appeals to reason and mutual fun-having are probably right out.
