The burden of proof is upon your shoulders, as you are claiming the current implementation is not working as intended. If not, it would take them a few minutes to fix the jump. They would just raise the defenders platform, then only they could make the jump (if that is intended).

I have tried to jump the gap with the speed boost and have failed... much to the amusement of my guildmates.... idk how people manage it.

Jumping over the wall at the start was an exploit, because it allows you to reach the door and plant the bomb faster than intended.

This is similar - it allows you to reach a door and plant a bomb faster than intended (hence the CHANNEL TIME necessary to open the bridges). Except this time only one class can do it.

Clear exploit to anyone with common sense.

Oh, and remember - it took Bioware 2 months to fix the jumping the wall at the start exploit. So clearly "it would take them only a few minutes to fix it" is not a valid argument about whether it's an exploit or not.

LOL

Take them a few minutes to fix? Now that is rich. They've already pulled Voidstar once, or was it twice, to work on it because it wasn't working as intended. What we got was the best they could manage by launch. The burden of proof is also hardly on his shoulders as WAI-NO-WAI is a common issue in mumorpugers, especially new ones.

They can't even get one turret in Civil War to not fire more when Imps cap it. That should be much easier than terrain changes.

I'm more curious about this purported post that its not an exploit from a developer.

Except that jumping over the barrier was circumventing a mechanic that has intended to block players. Jumping the gap is not the same...it is intended...why do you think they put a speed buff in front of it?

You don't think the designer thought "Oh, I'm going to reward Sages and Sorcs with an opportunity to skip the bridges", right?
^^
This is most probably true. I still think this is poor design, the ability to give ONE class the chance to bypass contested points and cap a node ahead. I'm a sorc -- and I think this is not working as intended.

....I don't know what to say. Are you being intentionally oblivious?

The bridges are a mechanic that is intended to block players. How anyone can dispute this is beyond me.

There is no speed buff on the attack side. It is not intended for attackers to be able to skip the bridge lowering (circumventing a mechanic that has intended to block players), hence why it is CHANNELED and INTERRUPTABLE.

I'll repeat.

To those to discount it. They are quick to delete/ban/close threads on information pertaining on how to do legit exploits (like the 12 players in a warzone exploit).

It is not PROOF as some of you say, but it is evident to it being intended rather than an exploit. Basically there is WAY more evidence supporting it was intended than it is an exploit, and that is all there is to it.

Nobody on this forum (apparently not even the forum moderators according to some of you) can actually factually verify if it's intended or an exploit, so this is the most you'll get out of it.
