1 person can hold back a 4 or 5 people with clever dying and dotting if they don't have the right cleanser. You can't hold back a team with any of that other stuff.

In order for 5 people to be DoT'd that means the one person has at least 7.5 seconds of up-time tab-DoTing. 5 people can easily CC-chain and kill one person in a few seconds, except for I guess, a Marauder, and their DoTs are short and not tab-spammable.

i've already explained that. and for commandos. 5 dots = 20 ammo. and since we only get 12.. uh, there is a serious math problem. and if those 5 peole dont have atleast ONE person that can cleasne well, their group make up sucks. just like the disadvantage a wz op would have with no healer. Yah, some have an AE dot but my god why are you all within 5 meters of eachother? there are so many ways to counter dots (preventative and after the fact) that it just bewilders me how bad the swtor player base really is.

Yeah...it's funny cuz this DoT nerf is gonna make PvP so much more better! It's gonna be about FAST DPS vs. slow and steady play. Faster and bigger hits are all that matter now!!!

Balance sage has an aoe dot and so does a commando. Whenever anyone was near a door I would cast it and tab target my instant dot, rinse and repeat. That is if they had a lot of people there so it was suicide mode.

That's less than a second to dot everyone around an objective.

Totally agree OP. They also need to make it so the defending team can't damage the offense, it's really frustrating to be trying to cap a door, and like 4 people come and kill you. Totally imbalanced, I'm unsubbing if they don't fix this soon.

The Commando AoE DoT lasts 6 seconds, and has a 30 second cooldown. And I'm not sure what you're refering to with a Balance Sage. Force in Balance is an AoE, not an AoE DoT.

The fact that the attacking team does not kill that guy in seconds before planting the bomb is hilarious.

You are trying to imply one people can hold 5 other from planting a bomb, when those 5 would kill that one in 3 seconds or less.

Also, one sorcerer can stop infinite number of people from planting a bomb for a few second by just seting a death field under it, and the sorcerer doesnt even have to target a particular enemy.
