So many people unsubbed during that patch dude, not saying it was because of the LFD tool but when you base your game around the gear grind and having literally nothing to do once you're fully geared, the game gets boring and people stop playing it until you release a new content patch.

A LFD tool just speeds up that process.

One other issue, If you cannot find a group to run the Flashpoints, Heroics, etc., How is it possible to play the game's design to get social points?

Oh yeah I can provide evidence for that as well.

I am still waiting on you providing any evidence at all to back up your opinons though.

Also there will always be a need for guilds. There are still guilds in other MMOs with an LFD tool.
/facepalm

Already asked & answered. Forum polls are full of bias, both in the way the questions are posed & the kinds of people answering. The one linked to had less than a hundred respondents. About a game with ~5 million NA/EU subscribers.

I don't have Blizzard's subscriber numbers or internal polling data, but you need to work harder if you're going to ask for "proof" (which, frankly, is a ridiculous demand on several levels).

Primarily because you have offered no "proof" that LFG and LFR operate in some kind of a vacuum, and had no impact on overall player experience or satisfaction, and did not, in fact lead to a cascade effect that resulted in massive numbers of people unsubbing from the game.

If you can't connect some dots on your own, or aren't willing to attempt to do so -- whether or not you agree with my ideas -- again, we have nothing to talk about.

I gave you at least some evidence to support what I was saying. You choose to ignore it all and shout that you're right.

I keep asking you for evidence and you keep skirting the issue. You can't provide any proof.

Therefore everything you say is nothing more than simply your opinion and should be taken as such.

There should be a single-server queue for pve but a cross-server queue for pvp. Single-server queue works like WoW's system, but it only affects people from your server. This kills anonymity so people can't just be d*cks and get away with it, and the legacy system helps with this too as it spreads across all characters. The only avoiding way would be to avoid questing, which is annoying and difficult.

However, for pvp I believe there should be cross-server implementation, yes, I hate WoW's community of "GUISE *** DEFEND THE RAMP OMGH Y U SUK U NOT DEFENDING GR IMAD" and arguing ragers over various topics, but it is my personal belief that this is what the /ignore command is for.

The world pvp in this game was already doomed when they instanced everything. World PvP was non existing alredy from day 1.
And world PvP will probably be nonexistent in SWToR to the end of the game. Unless the do a full overhaul of the game, but since EA are so greedy as they are, that will not happen.

As for LFG, Im a casual player, I don’t have the luxury to wait an hour and a half to get a group going. Unfortanly I can’t spec tank either, because EA have decided that if you like to heal, you can’t play a tank. Hurray. And on top of that, when you at last get a group together, you keep viping and viping and viping on bosses because they bug out. Take Direktive 7HM, the 2nd boss. Try guess what class I am when I say I have yet to get past this boss because of this bug.
Ending up wasting 2 hours just to not be able to complete 1 HM instance.
(And for thouse fo you who have no idea of this problem, try ask what the bounty hunte bug in D7HM is)
Well, maybe in the future they will fixe this, but for now it is to late. Canceld subscription and moving on to a proper MMO with proper MMO features that actually work.

Cant belive that that worlds most expencive game, the worlds biggest MMO released game wit the worlds biggest multimedia titles behind it cant make a proper and good UI to its game.
There is so many things that is wrong with the UI in this game that it is hard to believe this is the “behemoth” of the MMO’s. Why the heck do the game lag out like that when you open your inventory while you move around?
Test it out. Start moving forword, autorun or hold down moving key, then open and close your inventory. Spam the key if you like and watch the game strangle it self. O.o
Or try to "prevew" an item in a shop. And then prevew a new item. What? You have to "turn off" the prevew of the 1st item to look at the next item? And you cant prevew gear you cant use?

Nah, time to find a proper MMO and not a consol-game wannabe.

That is a major over generalization about who likes what... do you really think that anyone who wants a LFG cross server tool is an egotistical kid?

Then quit your b*tching and get off the forums. If you unsubbed, cool for you. If not, quit bothering the people who like it. Everyone likes something different, maybe the game just isn't fit for you. All you're doing now is bothering the people who are staying, you're like the fat grandpa at the wedding that wants three slices of cake when there isn't enough and throws a fit.

Gotta agree.

Awesome recycled diatribe, Mamono. Time to find a "proper" game, according to your standards then.

It's really quite simple...if you don't like cross server tools...don't use them. Band together with like minded people and pretend the tools (cross server, not the guildies) don't exist.

Consider, however, that there are never enough tanks and healers to go around in almost any game. Some players, sadly, really are less than stellar. Some players live/work odd hours. Some basement dwelling players, oddly enough, have really lousy social skills. Many purely casual players do not play enough to secure themselves a dedicated slot on a raid/heroic team. Cross server tools allow all those people who would never (or rarely) otherwise get to run heroics or raids an opportunity to play the same content that others have access too. If these people do not get the opportunity to play, then they aren't going pay. And if all of you comfortable on nice populous realms don't think that doesn't impact you, you're sadly mistaken.

As far as "community" goes, in this, and other threads, many of the same people whining about "community" are amongst the most unpleasant people on these forums, which is BTW, part of your "community". Too funny. If you somehow think you are going to play a "massive multi-player on-line" game and somehow be insulated from nasty people, you are again sadly mistaken...those people too, are part of your "community". If you cannot deal with playing with people who are not carbon copies of yourself, who do not think, speak, act, believe just exactly as you do, then it is not the failing of the cross-server tools, but a personal failing with you, and I'd suspect that the MMO genre is not the place you'll be most comfortable.
