Just a heads up since I dont think anyone has mentioned this.

My sorcs ranged INTERRUPT interrupts capping.

So less qq more pew pew.

Also as a healing sorc me being able to tab target dots and keep my self up or LoS people all day was a tad bit on the unbalanced side.

I guess using cleanse skill was too advanced for SWTOR pvp...

how?

their dots function exactly the same, the class will be exactly the same. they do the exact same damage as before and just as before they can can interrupt caps the exact same way every other class does, no class relies solely on dots, all of them use a multitude of direct damage abilities as well including instants.

stop being biased and stop whining.

dot specs are not weaker at all now in terms of actual PvP. they are just not able to exploit a MAJOR cheese mechanic anymore.
Like PT/VG being "weaker" because gripping enemies into your respawn area to blow them up was fixed.

nothing at all changed for dot specs, other than being forced to play the way "it's meant to be played" now instead of exploiting a horrible, broken cheese mechanic.

knock backs and direct attacks will still stop objectives so I dont see how this is an issue.

BUT kill the dots spammer. Yeah in every example that guy is alone with no healer and no teamates. In rated WZ ppl play in team and they will be on vent/ts. So you won't see 1 person defending a door.
Kill defender, clear DoT and capture node. Is that so hard to understand ? I DO IT ALL THE TIME AS OPERATIVE. Only thing need fixing is Sorc DOT because it cannob be cleared. Capturing while defender is around have no point because single shot or AOE will stop you.

Now only thing we need is to use whole team, cap both doors door or turret and score because THERE IS NO WAY TO STOP US ALL.
REMEMBER: People in PVP don't hate you. They just want you dead :-)

Where is the exploit? You are about to die and you dot the person or persons who killed you. Hence slowing their ability to cap. What is wrong with that? That is part of the game, why take from it? Also gripping enemies into your respawn was not OP. It kept people away from spawn camping. This is what happens when you have people who dont ever pvp, you complain until things are changed. You have now turned pvp WZ's into total pve sessions

Why should you be able to cap a node with a dot on you? Explain why that is unfair?
I really don't understand your logic argument at all.

Or rather I don't see any - so what exactly is your argument for 18 or 21 second dots preventing node caps for the entire duration?

Why do I even have to explain to you how it is cheesy or unfair? Why should I just press my scrap bomb button, dot up three people, die and deny them 21 seconds of capping until my team can reinforce - as long as nobody with them can remove it?

Why should I be able to? Explain please.

And then, you say it yourself - if they are so easily removed and you find it easy to cap anyway - where exactly is the problem with dots not inflicting with capping at all anymore?

I know the answer by the way: Bias!

It means that bads can't tab dot then die and come back to defend an objective.

I abuse the hell out of dots interrupting caps, but I think this is a good change.
