I really don't feel like requoting my entire post from that thread nor do I need to, I get immense satisfaction from this change and that's all I care about.
Raid progression no one cares about. Unimpressive quote or one liner. Uninteresting guild name. List of characters with their level and class symbol. Server. Referral link.

So in your opinion it's good...doesn't matter. Is there really some part of all you have to do is cleanse ONE GUY that is hard for you and others to understand?

This just in.. AoE will no longer stop players from activating Objectives in warzones!

no, but it won't be long till that happens.

The better players always made sure there was a DoT up before then died on anyone going for doors or turrets. The closer you get that DoT up, the better chance you had to defend a door/turret.
This should not be a change, its part of having the abilities. I've yet to use the N word for this game, but honestly, this is a PvP Nerf to all classes that have DoTs.
[Jedi Covenant] ~Katsune Legacy
Kayko - 55 Kinetic Sage
Sonika - 51 Lightning Inquisitor
Kaito - 55 Balance Sage

Yup. Pretty much kills half the reason to leave a Watchman Sent on D.

or a sniper dropped an aoe dot and 2 single targets in 3.5 seconds. that's 5 targets dotted in less than the time it takes purge to come of CD.

wow there are a lot of bads playing this game. rated wzs is going to be fun against all these scrubs who can't survive without cheesing dot mechanics.
Again, cleanse. Say it with me, cleanse. All you have to do is cleanse the single target DoT. AoEs can be avoided easily, just don't stand in 1 giant cluster, you know, put melee in melee range and range at...range. Sorry if you don't know the classes but it IS possible. Also, no one said they NEEDED it, we just think it was fine the way it was and that removing it makes it a lot easier to cap objectives. Cleanse does literally the same thing this patch does.

if there's ever been a litmus test for bads this issue is it. keyboard turners and clickers unit to save the dot! lol
Ah the typical I have no way to dispute your argument so I shall resort to ad hominems and illusions of my own grandeur. I'm probably much better than you will ever be but that's beside the point. If you have nothing logical to say, you lost. Stop talking.

P.S. Skilled players don't QQ. Why? They know what cleanse is.

Not all healers can remove all dots in addition to said cleanses having cd's, also, not all classes have a dispel for dots and the ones that do cannot dispel all different types of dots. Operatives or Mercs (I forget which one off the top of my head) can't remove a force dot cast by a sorceror so if you don't have a sorceror on your team there is no way to dispel the dot.

This is a good change.

Edit: This is something that needed changing, the choice was either A) Give everyone the ability to remove and dispel all dots or B) this change.

The Sorc can't DoT up a whole team. Problem = solved

Literally no one I've seen with any level of skill complains about DoTs preventing caps.
