I have been playing now for almost 2 months and expect for 1 night when they cancelled maint. The times for it have been right on, so dont get bent because you didnt notice the time.

I had my "hearth" ready just incase, but even though it has been up for a week or so, they have in the past changed the times, or extended the times on when the servers were going to be going down, plus it is not on one consitstant day,

They made an announcement about the maintenance four days ago. You had plenty of notice on how much time you had left. Just because you didn't pay attention to the clock doesn't mean that it is their fault, it is your own.

Yeah, I definitely filed this one under "Thanks for the warning".

And to all the Captain Obvious™ wannabes out there, yes, thanks for pointing out the patch notice. Derp. Anyone with half a clue knows they've missed/postponed close to half their patches since launch, so I'm pretty sure most people figured it was just late again when there was no shutdown spam.

Thankfully, Bioware has been really really good about finishing maintenance on schedule, compared to some other MMOs (especially shortly after launch). So mad props on that at least.

Boy I'm going to enjoy trolling you the next time their schedule doesn't go exactly as stated. In fact, I'm adding you to friends for just so a fun occasion.
Try hard is now an insult? At what point did our society degrade so much that trying hard is an insult? What's next? People who perpetuate this idea of "trying hard is a bad thing" are only hurting our society as a whole. They should be removed from it, forcefully if required. You don't randomly allow a cancer to grow, you excise it.

Hah!

I figured I was the only one. Though I was watching the clock and it wasn't exactly unexpected.

For me it was WHAM! 15 through 3 minutes left at at once. Then counted normally.

Wow way to jump to conclusions. I am fully aware that maintenance is required once a week...been experiencing that for the 7 years I have played MMO's. I was not complaining...just expressing my experience and thoughts
