Let me enlighten you,

A. Impatience: This is 90% of the problem with young gamers these days. Alot of gamers these days don't want to wait around for anything, it's either perfection or nothing.

B. Expectations: This is a immature mistake alot of this gamers make. You expect it to be this, you expect it to be that, and then when your expectations come short, BAM YOU ARE UPSET! With time like a fine wine you learn to not have expectaions in life, and try to appreciate the small things.

C. Knowledge: Yep I said it, I am a old mmo gamer and have been doing this since EQ and DAOC. I know when I see success and failure, and I know when I see a crowd of people that have no clue how to look for things that make success in a mmo. I have played since the 80's on a computer, am 35 years old, and know when I see people barking and complaining too much.

I will explain what SWTOR has at date FEB 27 2012,

1. Warzones

2. Open World PvP

3. Raiding

4. Guilds

5. Community

6. Fans

7. Content and Lore

8. Crafting

9. Space combat

10. A bright future

Summary: We are at the end of 2 months, and this mmo is a blockbuster among the best so far. In later months all these problems you see now will be gone, and Bioware will continue to fix and add stuff along the way. You can't argue that this game has room for improvement, and has a outstanding future ahead of it.

"Consider the hour-glass; there is nothing to be accomplished by rattling or shaking; you have to wait patiently until the sand, grain by grain, has run from one funnel into the other"

-John Christian Morgenstern

This. Well said. Totally agree. But it's the market now. Sucks, but these types are the loudest complainers too.

And your type is the loudest one screaming "the game is fine, everything's perfect because I say so!" as people unsub. People like you said the same things in Rift, WAR and Aion, and look how that turned out.

Wow is not a better game then this, do you do tons of quest to end up only doing a few story quest for each planet in this one? Yes, still 100 times better then leveling in wow, is there as much raid content? Wow never really had more then 1 or 2 raids that were ever worth doing at a time, so it really wasnt any different, I agree of course it doesnt have the problem with bugs, but I would never ever say its a better game. The pvp imo in this is way better, the classes feel way more balanced and interesting imo at least, sick of wizards. Wow has arena and rated battlegrounds, and more various warzones, thats true, still dont think its a better game.

I wouldnt say the game is dying. I would say the Republic is dying. Most people that say everything is fine are Empire side and all the people complaining about populations are on the Republic side. There really is no reason to play Republic except.. I want to play republic.

Mirrors tend to be better Imperial, Stories are much better and with nearly instant Qs for pvp why would you want to play Republic? If everyone is playing Empire you can get groups to do PVE easily. The dynamic is pretty simple.

Only game I've see which lost player base with comparable pace was Warhammer - made by the same team.

95% of servers will turn into ghost towns after D3 and GW2 releases. If you plan to stay for a long time (4+ months) - consider restarting on most popular server right now.

And once servers start merging/closing, EA will cut funding like they did with WAR. And then it's game over.
