I just walked out as if the water didn't exist in other words there was also no water physics. No swim animation and no water physics. Try it out for yourself, will have to do some hunting for the hole tho.

edit: was bugging me so went back and found it. Axial park 1179,5. If you do check it out try jumping while you're in it
awesome. ill definitely go find it and give it a go

I guess Lightsabres and blasters don't mix well with water

Photons ionize the "air" (KEY WORD) around them. So, Clone Wars may have gone against the grain, but the actual science behind something like this ever being possible... wouldn't work underwater.

How they work (Physics Theorem)

As far as swimming: If we had it everyone in this thread would be here in a simlar thread ************ about what a waste it was to put swimming in and spend dev time on it when "X" is missing.

Congratulations on dredging up a subject from this past summer in the beta, do some searching on the net before you put a thread like this in general, toss it in suggestions or don't bother.

Then I guess you'll just move on. And if enough people "moved on", then that would be a shame. Don't you agree?
What if a pink monkey flies out of my arse and chews my eyes out. ;p

You are making some grand assumptions here, based on little in the rea of a faulty track record. So far the game has been fine, enjoyable, and full of promise. If, however, that changes, then certainly I will move on, but it won't be because I lifted the hood and didn't like the engine, it will be because they change the basis of the game.

So, yes, in the context you are presenting it, I agree. The rationale I do not.

Another excellent point. I know its conjecture, but I have to agree that is what we would see.

Wishful thinking I guess. I'd love to read some constructive criticism accompanied by suggestions, backed up by data or testing. I see it a bit on the crafting boards, but all I'm seeing here is just complaining.

Kinda like when you're walking around Coruscant, along those neat corridors that you can't ever deviate from... yeah Coruscant feels really fake. None of the SWTOR game environments feel immersive and "real", for lack of a better term, to me. Not one.
I had all the underwater combat I ever needed when I played Perfect World. I never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever want to go through underwater combat again or swimming for that matter unless absolutely necessary.
