This is my problem as well. hoping on a stealth fix soon ,they will not admit to anything.

What I don't get about this issue are the people that say it worked find in beta but now they are having this issue. I've seen this from numerous people including guildies. So how can it be so hard for BW to find wthat key change.

It really sucks though because the game isn't terrible and I've been enjoying it. But if I can't pvp then I'm not going to have any reason to stick around, and I'm sure I'm not the only one that feels that way. So its just going to cost them mass subs due to a bug in the engine when they went live.

Sigh

Because in the beta, if you were like me. You could turn the graphics to use direct x9. In live version you do not have that option.

Finally BW says something about the FPS issue:

From todays Q / A:

TheJestersHat: What is BioWare planning to do about performance issues that people get with Warzone, open world PVP, and general FPS issues?

Damion Schubert: We have an internal strike team that is fully devoted to ensuring that the game runs better and faster, especially on low end machines, and we consider this team's work to be a crucial internal initiative. You should see evidence of this work as soon as Patch 1.1.5, when we will be introducing a new 'very low' setting to shader quality, which should drastically increase the number of mid-to-low machines the game can run well on, especially in Warzones and Operations.

Yeah I like how they try and make it sound like it's an issue on low-end machines only. Nice try Bioware. Still won't admit this engine is terribly broken.

Too little too late I'm afraid. Even if this game played the way it was supposed to now I'm not sure I could get into it. The way this has been handled has left a very sour taste in my mouth.

Since the FPS issues are related to assets handling, etc. His response was an utter joke. Mid to low end? X 4, X 6, and X 8 are all being affected. I'm definitely not renewing.

Ok.. so i build an pc for this game . first i had an amd phenom x4 960t at 3600 mhz and an integrated video card , the game would run smooth on low settings . then i bought an asus direct cu top 2 oc gtx 560 . i was able to run the game on full settings, full hd , with shadows off! the only problem i got is some fps drops when i`m doin ilum and in wz`s but some random fps drops for 1-2 sec! [ WHAT I RECOMMEND !!!! ] instal the full directx 9.0c !
run the game under windows XP SP 2 settings , turn on vsync , and the game will run smooth
sorry if this was allready said , but this solved my problems and i wanted to share this with you guys !
and grab the last driver from nvidia , the official(not BETA) one that went out two days ago 295.73 !
and trust me , Vsync does a lot !
i wish you good luck and i hope you`ll get this done !

with respect , Qareens !

forgot to mention this , and i hope that bw won`t delete this , but the engine the game was build it`s pretty old(directx 9) and unstable for high end configurations and i hope/trust and believe that bw it`s taking the time to resolve this problem !

I would still like the game to get better, and some of the other stuff added looks good, but mostly its stuff that should have been in in the first place.

Also, its taking every ounce of restraint not to make a sexual pun out of that last line.
