So a sorc casting bubble on you and your team doesn't help you? If you don't take dmg before it's gone they don't get credit, if you do then it works effectively just like a heal, so why shouldn't it count as one?

It amazes me how people who have no idea how a class works can come to the forums and whine like this. There's a reason the devs are ignoring you people.

Do you know the formula, because we could test this.

his 500 figure was pretty obviously pulled out of thin air.

While LoSing. The statement was refering to that a Sorcerer can LoS and heal to full, even if it takes awhile. Any non-healing class has to wait until they're out of combat and a Mercenary or Operative would run out of their resource pool before gaining any significant amount of health, while also gimping themselves if they get attacked by another person.

Operatives and Mercs can heal, but they don't have nearly as big of a resource pool. If you heal yourself as a Mercenary you'll run out of ammo before you've gained 6k hp, and will be SOL if somebody attacks you. Pretty much the same with an Operative.

dude. the formula is right there. just plug in the numbers.

hint: figure out the power -> healing power ratio and replace your original healing power in the formula with the new healing power.

Yea you can call me that if you want, but I'd take a base coefficient increase over crit surge everyday because of DR, and the fact that I sit at 38% crit before recklessness.

A DPS sorc will run out of Force quite quickly if they have to heal themselves to full. Maybe not at the rate of a Merc/Op, but I'm still wondering why you let the sorc sit out of LoS for so long.

Speaking of force, you know what would actually be a good fix for the hybrid? Making the Force regen abilities only work on damaging attacks, so that there is a lot less regen when using healing abilities when not in the healing tree.

If a bubble caps at around 3.6K, then a bubble doesn't absorb upward of 4.5K.

It is more like starting from 2.5K - 3.6K for sorcerers based on gear. 3.5 - 4.5 is not even close.
Fun fact - a 3.6k bubble absorbs 7k when guarded. And that wasn't even in the range.

No it doesn't, it absorbs 3.6k. The person who guarded takes the rest of the damage. They are not the same.
