I dont see how selling 6k copys in the US in a week, which is like 8k with digital sales, can counter any amount of players that quit.
I do think that this game is losing subs as well, its inevitable that there is some attrition. Its up to bioware to turn that around. And start making changes that will attract back the players that quit.

1) content thats hard with new tier of raid gear. Not faceroll like it is now.

2) LFD (cross server) cross server PvP as well.

3) PVP illum changes for the better

I'm curious as to why? I mean they're doing something different. Isn't that what a lot of people been complaining about? too many WoW clones.

I've said this before and i'll say it again. you can't truly have competitive PvP unless everyone is rocking the same level gear.

Simply being different doesn't guarantee a quality or enjoyable game.

My guess is that it will take a few games like this with new ideas that hit-or-miss before finally a new game that incorporates enough of those successful ideas hits the market.

I don't disagree with you but I still don't know why the poster so readily called fail. There has been games with good concepts but because it wasn't like X or Y they bail because it was too different. Then get on forums and say that this game is too much of the same.

the majority of players just do not know what they want. Then when they get what they ask for they complain about that too.

It's been real but the game just wasn't worth the sub for me anymore.

Minecraft has more players than that, and even runs better on your computer

I'm so bored with SWTOR, I'd give Hello Kitty Online a go if it was competitive....
Many Bothans died to bring you that information.

Um, those "subscribers" were only there for the free month, it's estimated that only a few hundred thousand people are still playing (not bad). I fear the game will lose more and more players, myself included.

People on forums aren't just QQers. People on forums (as opposed to people who don't frequent forums, possibly because they have no idea there even are forums) complain because they tend to be people who know a bit more than the layman. Check the customer service forum and you'll see the oodles of threads being run by players themselves. More often than not, I find people in-game have no idea what's causing their lag, whereas people here do, and they complain about it.
If after my 2 month game card runs out, TOR isn't running without memory leaks and stuttering on my HIGH-END MACHINE (and everyone else's), I won't be re-subscribing.
