It gets towards the end, then closes itself. I don't know what to do. I've tried searching and I've tried downloading a new SWTOR_setup.exe from my pre-order page, but it just won't work. Running 64 bit Windows 7.

Having a number of background applications open while you are installing Star Wars: The Old Republic can affect the installation process. Depending on how your PC is set up, active Web Browsers, download and streaming media can all cause potential issues.

Try shutting these applications down and then re-start the installation process once more to see if these are the cause of the issue.

I hope this helps.

Edit: From your DXDiag, I see you have Fraps installed. Please try quitting Fraps and running the installer again.
