Overall, this is why I avoid coming to forums. It's the same as WoW except worse. People whining about minor things instead of either quitting or just enjoying the game. When it's constructive and sorely needed, sure, but don't harp on it.

Some features, yes, it should have had at launch (like target of target and guild banks as I said elsewhere) but others...WoW didn't implement for a long time and how could they know PvP would be so popular? On another note, I'm really hoping PvP doesn't destroy this game like Arena destroyed WoW (and I'm not a bitter PvE player, I really liked Arena but it's broken and broke other gameplay mechanics with it). This is a different game with a different playerbase and I think BW is allowed to change the game and implement features to create the kind of playerbase and game they want to, not just a carbon-copy of WoW right off the bat.
You mentioned WoW...

The "you're an idiot if you've left this early" comment really solidifies any further addition to the discussion you provide. Way to let your arguments/opinions stand for themselves.

But of course, like WoW, there will be whiners hanging on screaming "THIS GAME SUCKS" forever instead of just leaving (like I did, when I no longer enjoyed the game).

Truth. I'm going to go spend time elsewhere doing something fun and/or constructive.
Why are you comparing it to wow?

WoW was released in like 2004, back then mmos were different. This is 2012, bioware had 7-8 yrs in development time, they saw many mmos come and go. They saw what mmos did right and what they did wrong. THEY DID NOT LEARN FROM THEM.
SWTOR adds NOTHING new to the mmo genre, the only thing i see is better story than most mmos but then again this is a mmo and not a single player game.

GW2 for example is doing new things. No more quests but just your class and dynamic quests, action based combat etc. Will this work out? Who knows but at least its a change from the usual crap.

Ive said this before and will say it again, it seems to me that bioware was making kotor 3 and someone was like " lets turn KOTOR 3 into a mmo?".

That's because I'm not trolling people. If these people you speak of cared at all about the game, they would do something more constructive than post "this game is failing and they need to do something fast!".
Here's another credible source..

Which, seems to be far more realistic.

Ill be laughing when Bioware does make Kotor 3. There seems to obviously be a demand for it. I'm sure it will be nothing like TOR

I thought surely 2 months on we'd have LFG and cross server PVP. How much longer should I have paid my sub based on vague references on the developer blog?
Two things.

One; apparently I am one of the very few who are aware the game has a LFG tool already. Unless you're all looking for a zero-interaction, queue-and-wait, port-me-to-the-fp tool.

Two; If you picked up SWTOR looking for the next big online PVP e-sport, I think you've severely misjudged where Bioware has and will continue to place the bulk of their focus.

Go play WoW.
This, ten thousand times this.
Let this sink in, this game is Free to Play, boasts one of the most popular IPs on the planet and yet 76.47% of the servers are empty.

Already 2+ months old but still suck as badly as if it was early beta test.

It could be a good game without subscription fee. But $15 per month for unfinished PvP, 0.2-5fps on ilum - no way!
