Now, it's getting circular. I've already addressed this point. You can go back and re-read the thread, as this circle will just continue.

So good players doesnt want to play with bad ones and we get more challenging fights. Dunno why thats a bad thing. You can group up with bad ones, i can group with players i want. Difficulty levels are there for a reason so bad players do easy modes, good ones do hard ones, best ones do nightmare modes, or should be like that but now there is only easy modes.

Some can, maybe, but not all.

lol these people that are against logs seem to all have had some crazy traumatic experiences in the past with them. I wana know where you find these people that are as cut throat as they claim.

I cant stand this "ignorance is bliss" attitude that comes from some of these posts. I dont mind if you want to remain clueless to your performance compared to others. But I love knowledge and I love bettering my self in games. Thats fun for me.

based on what? some **** you read on elitest jerks forums??

I played WoW Vanilla pvp to field marshal, and raided all the way to AQ40.

my guild was dedicated to content and very motivated to complete it. That being said we were a raid guild, a community of like-minded individuals, who would go above and beyond to help a guildy rather than chastise performance.

all while using or not using combat logs

Adding it will affect me heavily!

BW will have to make content harder, harder to the point that in order to face that content I will have to join the geek theorycrafters and I will have to use the logs to find out who in my raid group isn't quite up to the leet standard.

I don't understand why people say that meters will allow guilds to dictate specs. My own experience of meters (in world ~250 WoW guilds) was completely different.

* Nobody cared about spec. They cared about performance. You keep up on the meters? Then clearly your oddball fringe spec was working for you.

* Going back further to when I started playing, meters also broke down a lot of prejudices. There was a time when druid and paladin healers were second class citizens because they were not "pure" classes. Priests got priority on healer gear in raids. Hybrids got their leftovers (and lets not even mention dps or tank items). This prejudice was strongest when people only had gut perception to measure performance. The meters proved that hybrid players were "real healers."

TLDR: There are things I'd like Bioware to prioritise over combat logs but I don't believe that they ruin the game. On the contrary, I believe they allow players to be recognised and accepted for playing well and not for their conformist spec or class choices.

This is imo, the whole problem. Its about players that "play for fun" as they put it, wanting to play at the higher level where min/maxing is required. They want to be included at the highest level without actually playing at that level.

I just think it's funny how they all read over my post, and since they have no good rebuttal to support their wild theories decided to ignore it. Guess that just follows right along with their ignorance is bliss theory with combat logs eh?
