Is this game pvp or pve?

Look at WoW, how many years have they been trying to balance PvP, but still have FotM classes/specs? You just can't do it.

It is clearly a PvE based game. It is not marketed as a PvP game like DAoC or Warhammer Online.

This is a PvE game. Like most PvE games, PvP is bolted on and doesn't really work as well as they intended.

The pvp and end game pve are TERRIBLEEEE on this game.

I have to agree with a lot of people. Is it pve or pvp. I have nothing against pvp but I signed up in a pve realm, not pvp and now I am being told that if I want the best gear I have to pvp. I don't like being forced to do something. If I wanted to play pvp I would have signed up for that. Love the story of the game and I am a pve person, so I loved the level grind. But after all that, to be told there is really nothing left for you to do but run Daily's to get mods or pvp to get the best gear, is a total let down. I like a lot of people have never played pvp, that's just who I am. When we all signed up for a server we was given the choice, pve, rp, or pvp. And now we get to 50 and it's all about pvp. Seems to me this is a pvp game and a let down for the groups of people who just wanted to rp or pve.
He will choose the fate of the weak. He will win and break his chains. He will choose how he will be loved. He will strengthen himself through sacrifice. He will strengthen himself through pain. He will balance himself through peace and conflict. He will remake himself. He will unleash pain and chaos upon his enemies.

Definitely a PvE game. PvP in this game doesn't even match up to 8v8 PvP in Guild Wars, let a lone a dedicated PvP MMO like GW2

The game sucks on either server.

If you want a PVE game then play WOW. It has 50 times the content of this game, way better designed classes, way better from a technical point of view and it's developed by a competent group of people that actually deliver what they promise.

If you want a PVP game then play EVE Online. That has a decent Risk VS Reward system, great community, great player-dev interaction and it's actually a meaningful game where your choices actually matter (in other words they are not just fake choices like in this crappy game but real ones that influence you and the entire game world).

Or you could continue to pay for this heap of **** in the hopes that BW will somehow learn no to suck and how to clone WOW without doing such a *********** terrible job at it.

Your choice.

Just a question of understanding: Isn't the stuff you get for PvE Operations in high difficulty par with the PvP stuff?

As far as I can see the only truly PvP centric MMO I've seen so far is Warhammer Online.
