What would I do with more power... run a hawaiin island?
He means that your pc is only worth about $1500 on the current market. It's little bit a stretch but it is not worth more than 2k.

He means that what you listed would cost $1500 total, I would say anything over $2000 and you got ripped off. Unless theres more stuff youre not mentioning.

If somebody was standing on a street corner screaming "This town sucks, I'm moving!" you'd think he was crazy, right? I quit threads are the same thing.

A Q4 2011 released game that looks similar to games released in mid 2005, ok then, gg.
Meh, I dunno if I agree. I mean alot of people have issues running it as is. MMO's are typically a little lacking in the graphic dept. I thought SWTOR's graphics weren't bad and I'm picky as ****

Must be a pre-built, probably some overpriced alienware or soemone took you to town in a store.

3 grand and I'll build a fooking HAL-9000 super computer with that sorta cash.

I dunno about a HAL. Tell it to run SWTOR and instead it decides to eletrocute you...

It could only cost that much if he bought pre-build within couple of months of gtx 570's release. I am sure when gtx 570 was released but the machine has to be at least 1 year old.

edit: gtx 570 was released dec of 2010. the price sounds about right if he bought it jan/feb 2011.

HAF X Blue Edition Case (Includes the optional blue LED top fan)

Intel Core i7 2600k (Running on stock for now)

EVGA P67 FTW Motherboard

EVGA Superclocked GTX 560 ((x1 for now))

G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666)

Cooler Master Silent Pro Gold Edition 1000W PSU

Western Digital Velociraptor 10,000RPM 150GB HDD

Logitech G9X Mouse

Logitech G11 Keyboard

Cyber Snipa Tracer Glowing Blue mousepad

Sanyo 52" LCD TV ((Model Number: DP52440))

My total cost on this rig with the case and everything inside it ONLY was $1.3k at the time I purchased everything off of newegg.

The tv was $998

Keyboard $60

Mouse $60

headset at the time $140

The game looks GREAT as well as Battlfield 3.
My rig is running on a 25' HDMI cable, the newest version BTW. I dont see how this game could look crappy but at least for me, it looks beautiful as well as battlefield 3 .

LoL, its because your ledz are tu big for your PCz, Buy a Mac and you are fine.

Nah seriusly.

having the same issue here,

HD 6970 Crossfire
8gb corsair vengance
2x 500gb black caviar WD
i5 2500k @ 4.5ghz 1.2v

And if i even dare to turn the shadows ON at ilum im f'kd. When with the same config i run bf3 at ultra 16as 4aa 1080p steady at 140 to 115fps.

There was a post once, when RP ppl at this forum where alive (You know, because they make like 2 post a day and they have a, let say, 10k forum users who actively post?), that said something like the performance on series 6900 wasn't greate and they are working it out with AMD...

You can't simply release a game with this deep programing issues.

If i ever released a piece of soft that couldt run on certain config (and i know a game is a whole other story) i would get insta fired. You ppl are (BW Devs) uber lazzy (more than the tipical developer, like a I+D guy i think) or have huge balls.
