Apparently you've never played WoW.

The CC in this game doesn't even come close to WoW.

OP its the cool downs are not affected like they should be. if you interupt some one it should knock that school or skill ine's cc or root or heals, affecting everything in that tree. but as is its not. onc ethey fix that we can tehn see how the game shoudl be running

I believe they have this much CC so ppl cant tell the difference from CC or bugs... coz this game is just so bugged and full of lag its just silly... playing a sin is a nightmare and i might as well remove my maul completely since even if its looks like it i'm not really behind the player...actually sometimes i'm 30ft away.. and to top it off, when i'm not dc from a WZ we are winning the floor sometimes vanish from under my feet and i'm floating in outer space..

So maybe CC helps them "hide" a few of the bugs..

I think the CC is fairly designed. If you don't give ranged DPS CCs, then you can't give melee DPS gap closers. This turns mixed combat into a kite fest that's both boring and absolutely maddening for melee DPS as they'll never get to hit anybody.

The big issue is snares/roots not impacting the resolve bar. All movement impairing skills should both increase resolve and not apply to characters with full resolve.

It doesn't come close to WAR either, just in the opposite direction.
Real Star Wars space combat please, not Star Wars Fox! Maybe some PvP and flight too?

CCs were designed for 1vs1 and is a mad house in group PVP. In group PVP the resolve bar should be universal and would be nice if anti-CC had a much shorter CD since it requires some skill to use as defense and makes PVP more dynamic (less static with standing there and taking it).

The fact that on the first list, damage on you breaks most of those.

On the second (swtor) you sit and take damage for 6 seconds unable to do anything.

The fact is, 50% of WoW's CC share DR with eachother, and they're a lot shorter then SWTOR's and things like sheep, fear and blind break on damage but when you end up stunned for 8 seconds in SWTOR because of the ****** resolve system, is not cool.

Funny. Again, majority of WoWs CC breaks on damage or can be dispelled, you'd know that if you went above 1800 in arena.
