This game is TWO MONTHS old.

Don't worry, I'm out the door next month when GW2 goes open beta followed by its launch. TERA goes live in May, The Secret World in June and so on.

This is the part where you tell me and others good riddance. Just remember, SWTOR ain't the game peeps tend to return to, that game is called Pandaland.

My experience in reading these boards is that most complaints are purely conjecture laced with hyperbole. In short, the complainer either has no idea how MMORPGS launch and grow, or they have convinced themselves of something that simply does not exist.

That is not to say there are no bugs, issues, or aspects to be added to the game, but that most "complaints" are, well, unfounded.

It is a MMORPG. They launch with a basic shell then develop over the next 5 to 10 years as the game grows. Considering that this has been the best launch I've ever witnessed, the honest dedication of the Development team, next 5 or 10 years look very promising.

Heck, if I had any complaints at all it would be in regard to the board monitors, who seem to be a bit drunk with power. The game however, is great.

Many of us are doing what you're screaming at us to do; we're throwing money at them and hoping to see some changes and additions while enjoying what we can of the game.

Do you want "us" here or not?

We pay for the same developments you enjoy.

GW2 shows a little promise, lets see if it delivers. TERA.... yay another asian grind fest. Secret World looks terrible IMO. Just my opinions.

And no, I will not say good riddance, but keep in mind, people aren't leaving SWTOR fast enough to come back.

I, for one, expect more. My only other real MMO experience has been with Rift, and SWG. SWG was pretty bad.

While I betatested TERA over a year ago and think it's just OK, saying that GW2 shows "a little promise" just goes on to show how little you know - especially now that the press NDA was lifted on monday and everybody are praising it. MMORPG.com, Massively, Kotaku, GameSpot etc all love it, couldn't get enough of it and say it is the game of 2012, the MMO we've been waiting for years, and a breath of fresh air when compared to stupid let-me-hold-your-hand themepark MMOs like SWTOR.

Don't take it from me, take it from an united game press and non-press players who also got to play last weekend.

What's so hard for you guys about being adult-like and mature and posting ina constructive manner then, instead of calling everyone a fanboy who points out that there's no need to keep complaining about the absence of feature X because featuer X is coming or has been promised or whatever?

What it comes down to is that all the people who desperately want to complain and convince others to hate the game have latched onto the "oh yeah? well it should have been there in the first place" nonsense argument because for the most part, you've got nothing left. Most of it is being added, already has been added or is at least promised. As for bugs, no...the vast majority of people aren't running around tearing their hair out because they feel deluged by bugs. Some people have admittedly had some really bad luck with it, but the vast majority are chugging along fine.

So yeah, maybe some of these things, even ones that aren't game breaking to not have but are nice features, "should" have been in the game from the start, but if they are all either already added, promised or actually being implemented, then you're just blathering a moot point. MOOT MOOT MOOT!!! NOT DOOM DOOM DOOM!!!
