Good Post, I personally love the game, I have not played wow in 4 years, and when I left I never looked back.

I agree with the OP. My WoW accounts (4 total) have all been cancelled, and my last one runs out in 2 weeks.. but I have not logged into WoW since Dec 15...

So I agree.. this is "my" WoW Killer.

This game doesn't have the soul required to topple WoW.

Alot of the player base was actually the polar opposite of your experience and for the life of me I do not know why they were.

I was expecting what I saw in beta and for 95% of that was completely correct.

People put so much hype into the game and had so many expectations, again no idea why because anyone could play the beta and knew what the game was like

So I am not disappointed nor surprised. The game to me is entertaining. I subbed 6 months and I will see what shakes out

It's not that it doesn't have the soul, BW wants to live in harmony with WoW. Figures they can gain from it. It's EA that is always making these things ups and starting stuff. It's the same as with Battlefield 3. It was EA and Activision that actually started that fight, not the fanboys.

Patience is a virtue that will pay off with this game... for those of us who stick to it.

I am not anti-SWTOR by anymeans and I will sub and continue to sub but .. I just dont get the feeling of addiction with SWTOR that I use to, I am not sure if it is my server, my guild or the game in total.
I can't brain today...I have the dumb

I had minimal expectations, having done no research, and having not played an MMO since WAR well over a year ago; I was still disappointed.

I think the key is that I haven't been playing WoW, so I'm not relieved to finally be out of the POS it sounds like it's become; I left that over five years ago, when it was obviously the direction they were heading in, starting with BC.

I was seriously expecting a Rickroll to a HEART lovesong from the 80's. Was disappointed in that respect.

But I hear you OP. Having a grand old time. Still hoping to recustomize my character's faces but, what are ya gonna do. I don't play a game if I'm not having fun with it so right there with ya.

Once it becomes more than a never-ending epeen grindfest for gear, the game will come into its own. For now, it's story and Huttball. [Like an accident, I know I shouldn't [look] but I can't stop playing Huttball...it has me in its grasp]
