Maintenance times unfair to West coasters.

12am is really screwed for west coasters, just saying every other game maintenance didn't start till 2am.

Of course I'm still bitter from when you announced maintenance, canceled it then had it the next day.

That was two days straight I didn't get to play....



Already considering canceling, I can deal with 2am maintenance but I don't even get home and chance to sit down till 10-11ish.

I live in Australia and maintenance runs from around 6pm onwards here. I don't get to play at all on maintenance days.

Honestly, you really feel that cut up because you can't game an extra 2 hours?

I'd be a little more tolerant if I were playing a game based clear around the world, I'd expect it if I were playing Chinese MMO's.


I only get a few hours to play in the evening, all other MMO's wait till 2am before kicking on the maintenance.

I haven't had a chance to play in 3 days, first chance I get and the servers going at 12am?

If that's not going to change I have no reason to continue subbing.

Just hope they fix all the errors that has been going on. Also seriously look at the Customer Support company they hired. I think for the most part I am glad they are going to fix the game or I hope they will fix it. I will sacrifice a day of gaming to enjoy the many days to come.

Yes I do have a concern, it's the servers going down at 12am for west coasters and I would like Bioware knows us here on the left of the country thinks it sucks.

But since we are making juvenile poorly thought out declarations as fact here's mine, You don't matter to anyone, sorry.

It's off-peak, so I'll restate it

I live on the west cost too, have not had the time the last two days, could care less to be honest, and I am still in love with TOR, they are patching and updating, I cant be angry about that, lets me get ahead on work, or read, or find where my kids stuffed laundry and dishes or something. Yes it would be lovely if they staggered the times per timezone but in the end, I don't see it as anything to get worked up about on my end.


though they did say they are working on ways to stagger times for Oceania and the EU, so who knows that could be a sweeping choice in the end to stagger everything.

I think the maintenance times are a bit long, and as a West Coaster I also think they are too early. I often don't get a chance to sit down and enjoy myself until late at night, so its a bummer when I log on only to get "Servers will shut down for maintenance in 15 minutes."

I don't think this is an issue worth unsubbing over (after all, what about all the other days? derp) but it is certainly irritating. The expectation is that maintenance times will become shorter and more predictable. I mean, ffs, the one tonight is like 7 hours projected. I hope there's some really good fixes in there.

This has bugged me since I have bought the game but I guess I just got used to it. I play late night as well and it does seem that every time the servers come down is when I'm about to get my game on. I don't think it would kill anyone to have the times an hour or two later but I guess someone has to get the shaft on it. At least it's better than being a Euro player with down times smack in the middle of prime time playing.
