Did this game deliver on the hype?

The game lived up to expectations (though my expectations were reasonable) but BioWare have been a real let down.

I'll stick to their single-player games in future as they have no idea how to interact with communities such as you get in MMOs.
Space, is big. Really big. You just won't believe how vastly hugely mindbogglingly big it is. I mean you may think it's a long way down the road to the chemist, but that's just peanuts to space...

Yeah, it was easy if you were in a JP LS.

Yeah, I wasn't talking JP release, they had it forever before we even started. Granted I had been wanting to play it ever since I saw it's release there.

I thought for sure there was another expansion thrown in there, but it has been a LONG time. The first thing I did was unlock sky, it had the best leveling zones and it's where all the groups who knew what they were doing would go. Plus you got to fight all the bosses, and it was a lot of fun. Long, but mostly easy if you knew what you were doing and your healers / casters didn't suck, I guess a lot also depended on if your nin/pld/war could tank as well. War's less commonly tanks though, mostly dual wield for dps. Anyway, i am running wildly off topic.
If things get any worse, I'll have to ask you to stop helping me.

I never pay attention to the "hype" on any game. I look at each one individually in terms of what it has to offer to me and my playstyle. I am enjoying SW:TOR.

It does not satisfy my needs...mostly because it is new but also because it is not sandbox-like.

The end content for me is non existant. I did try the pvp and it was not to my liking. 7-8 commendations daily hets real boring. Luckily i craft but thats boring too.

Does it make deliver on the hype? I was excited w/o the hype. The videos were nice and invoked some serious delite but thats gone.

I bought SWTOR in hope for a game that is more fun to play than any other MMOs out atm and I got what I wanted

Also lol at the term "Biodrones", cause players not agreeing with the trolls and haters and a few decent posts = fanboys?

Not only did it not deliver on the hype, but it sort of killed the Bioware name for me. After Dragon Age 2 and now this, I have lost my respect for this studio.

Add in the fact in less then 1 month we get patch 1.2 and the official oceanic release and subs are going to rise again.

You don't like it that's fine but don't expect anyone to feel sympathy for you not liking it.
What the subscription numbers telling me is that they are dropping not increasing.

I believe nothing that the very vocal minority of the SWTOR Forums have to say. Seriously, this forum is perhaps the worst gaming community ever...

Dragon Age 2 wasnt that bad, story was so so, i hated how everything was recycled but the gameplay was AWESOME.
