So true blotter this game is still in beta anyone who thinks otherwise is misinformed bioeare is also changing the pop on severs so they look like there not empty and dying so shady....

Every critical thread gets thread-jacked by the Defense Force.

The OP offers us nothing constructive; maybe a little insight into why he thinks it "rocks?" That would be great for this on-the-fence player.

I played DCUO when it first launched last year. I stuck with it till about April or so... let me tell you.. THAT game was still in Beta. SWTOR makes it look like an Alpha actually...

Edit: Also you really should broaden your horizons.. As one poster already has said.. Witcher 2 is excellent. One of the few games that has given me goosebumps over its coolness at points. Very hard to produce that effect in me as I am the opposite of casual.... Hardcore and extremely jaded.
mass effect 1 and 2 gave me goosebumps but that is not even same genre of games...

I dont find cartoonish pandas to be that epic or to give me goosebumps, sorry but that's just the way i am...

All i'm saying is that i enjoy playing this game and no matter how much you people bash it or say **** about it, its still going to be the best game out there...

well meaby there is one more game that i can see as a good candidate and that's aoc... it's a shame that funcom actually run it to the ground...

He enjoys the game. That is his opinion, he doesn't need to explain why he likes it. The fact that he does is all that matters. He does not have to explain himself to anyone. Just like how some people do not like the game. That is their opinion.

It's really sad that people bash someone just for saying he likes the game.

Agreed.

The problem for me, however, is that there's a pervasive double-standard whereby any negative thread must support itself with a backed-up thesis and a bullet-point list of reasons for the OP to get any credit at all for their opinions.

If opinions were enough, my friend, this community wouldn't be so divided.

Perhaps he's just sick of seeing endless knocking threads and posts and without launching into a detailed and complex review he just wants to share the fact that unlike most of the people on the general forums, he likes the game.

Legitimate criticism is very welcome - anything that improves the game and helps it evolve is great, but how many threads are constructive?

It's all - got to 50 bored as hell - unsubbing
this game sucks balls etc

The problem is not someone raising improvement opportunities, it's people who have posted over 200 times saying exactly the same thing - i hate this game and it's going to be empty and f2p in 3 days time.

This is trolling - pure and simple - and should get people banned.
