There are several people on my server that I will try to get vote kicked every time.

Looking forward to this feature.

So basically, people who have been around mmos long enough, realize joining standard pve/pvp servers are a risk/gamble and not a good idea. This is where the sentiment that rp servers have better communities come from, it has nothing to do with rp (hardly anyone roleplays), it has to do with the population tending to be more experienced mmo players since they realize the three rules i just listed above.
Because my observation since 1999 has been different from yours?
Sure RP servers have the more stable population, but in many games where they added too many of them that's as in very stable very low numbers.
And often they hold the highest number of elitist lore-police complaining you're ruining their immersion if you do as much as jump near them.
So it's a gamble either way.
When it comes to higher population numbers, it's usually the normal PvE servers that are the most overloaded during the first month (and often allready during beta if servernames remain the same) that remain the liveliest covering the broadest ranges of playstyle / preferences for the longest period of time.

I must give you that I made a wrong server choice for my main though (only decided afterwards that would be my main), for the first and probably last time in my life I went for a PvP server that was at heavy load until the first free month was over.
The normal PvE server I have alts on since shortly after launch still holds the highest population of almost all servers.

But still I think it has less to do with the choice of servertype than with the ridiculously optimistic amount of servers at launch. Personally I rather have queues for the first week or maybe 2 and only adding servers when too many start locking up than to have servers dieing allready after 1 month.
Casually Hardcore since 1999

I'm perfectly fine with this as long as it takes a 6 out of 8 vote to kick someone not afk. That way a 4 man premade group can't do it alone. If you get 6 out of 8 votes that means that all but one player wanted you gone and there is nothing wrong with that imo.
This should be required reading for anyone wanting to post on the forums

If Bioware had a clue they're require 6 votes to kick someone. This means a premade can't kick out "baddies" and you can't kick below 6 on a team and produce an autoloss.

And with 6 votes needed there is little chance of abuse.

Depends on your server I suppose. It's not uncommon to have 5 or 6 people from the same guild in the same WZ on my server.

There are at least two guilds on each faction on my server that have hit the 500 character limit for guilds in this game so you see the following

<Guild A>
<Guild A recruits>
<Guild A alts>

It's not at all uncommon to see multiple members from all 3 in a match. Technically they may not be in the same guild but in reality they are all in the same vent/mumble channel, playing together.

Yep, I plan on vote kicking everyone who sucks, everyone who is undergeared, everyone from known "lamers" guilds, everyone who I don't personally like, everyone who is in an alt guild of an Imperial guild (damn spies!), and generally... everyone. Except my guild/friends.

Hurray for absolutely legal, abusable griefer tools designed by Bioware!

Patch 1.2! Rise of the Griefers !!!

The question is - do you really think all of them are going to be douches and boot everyone who's not in the guild?

And if so, did you REALLY want to play with them if that was the case?

I want to play the game. As long as they trying to win the game I don't care if the guys I'm playing with are douches or not.
