I copy this from another thread since it might happen its not a bug that everyone have. Our server - Tayrus Academy - has it, almost any republic player experience it, no information on Sith but judging by their behavior they sometimes get it too.

Here is what happening - an absolute legit fight. we are outnumbered by imps about 1/3.

1 kill
1 kill
1 kill
they are dumb enough to get close to cannon. cannon goes boom

1 kill
1 kill
No Valor Gained
No Valor Gained
No Valor Gained
No Valor Gained
No Valor Gained
No Valor Gained
No Valor Gained
No Valor Gained
No Valor Gained
No Valor Gained
No Valor Gained
No Valor Gained
No Valor Gained
No Valor Gained
No Valor Gained
No Valor Gained
No Valor Gained
No Valor Gained
No Valor Gained
No Valor Gained

After that, the only ! way to get valor gains back is to die, or go out of the zone and come back.

Personally, it ruins a huge aspect of the game for me - i almost exclusively PvP, and this issue just forces me to quit Ilum as soon as i finish my daily/weekly. But there is NO FUN IN THAT, i love those long fights when zerg, or (even more) when we are defending rep base in small numbers being really really outnumbered - because it feels heroic.

Now i do not abuse, do not cheat, yet game forces me to die every 2-3 kills i get counted. This is very frustrating, could you please explain - is this how you actually see Ilum battles? Is this a "working as intended" issue or, in fact, a bug?

I would be most greatful for your answer - after todays Ilum most reps went away after they finished daily - due to this bug - in a mere 30 minutes. And sometimes we stay for 2-3 hours having a lot of fun. The fun is gone.

i've never had this issue, but i've seen in ilum general chat that the solution for those affected is to die like you said...

my opinion is that maybe you've killed the same person too many times, but if your example says you killed only a couple times, that prob isn't it

/shrug
Wessik Moonrunner, [Helm of Graush, AzM]
[Kauri Rebel - CRSF,KoK, RSF General]
[Bloodfin Imperial - AzM], [AoC - WDMKR]
Castigere Bartucchi, [Kauri Imperial - MYST]

It's the same thing on our server as well, both sides get it non stop.. people might fight for 30 mins then quit in frustration. Logging out completely, leaving the zone, doesn't work. As if Ilum wasn't fail enough but to have to deal with this bug which i'm sure Bioware is aware of is getting outta hand.

Given the amount of money they had backing this game, you'd think they'd be able to stealth patches in like other games do non stop to fix crap like this. Waiting until a patch to fix a few bugs here and there isn't gonna provide much longevity to this game if they continue on their current path.

This isn't a bug.

It's a fix for the valor trading idiots... Or supposed to be, lol.

Yes, I get it too. I always get it after I'm done with my daily, never before. Last tuesday I did the whole weekly before that started happening. I think it's mostly a good thing, because it discourages me from farming Ilum, which is really boring.

sounds like the game is promoting kill trading...

Well this is what i am really trying to get here - is this a FIX? what for? Imps zerging us on cannon 3 to 1 and we cant even retaliate? We did everything legit, no cheats, no kill trading, no abuse, nothing - pure game mechanics at its best.

Actually, to be very honest, i promised myself - if in 1 week they wont fix this, i am out.
And believe me this is coming from someone who was ready to support the game for years. Its just my hot spot, they mess with the thing i enjoy most in the game.

This one tiny insignificant bug which you will very rarely see in situations that leaves you hopelessly outnumbered anyway is the one that is going to make you quit if they don't IMMEDIATELY fix?
I'm no fanboy and criticize the game often but that is just ridiculous.
Alright. Bye.

Strange, some how my opinion forces you to try to affect me personally. You feel better by doing so? I do not mind, keep going.

On the facts - its not a tiny bug, it happens every day i try ti play Ilum and have fun, the only way to escape it is to play a small scale Ilum - which sometimes happens in off hours, but i do not always have time to play those. And yes i find this bug dire enough for me personal to stop my subscription if they will not address it or at least inform players of those intentions.

Right now we do not know if its even a bug - there is zero information about it, players just tend to accept it, die a couple of times, complete their daily and leave Ilum. But i like it, it leaves me without a choice.

Again feel free to attack me personally because of my opinion.
