That was his response from page 2 of this thread. I agreed with what he was saying and yet my argument was wrong.

Explain that to me. I agree with him. And because DK's were brought in for WoW's third expansion it's the same thing as the Legacy System releasing new races ?????????

Franky I hope it stays that way. The race specific bonuses in WoW were just one more thing people would whine about.

Lol, this entire game is "ez" mode. I hate to break it to you. There is nothing difficult or challenging in this game, unless you count the tedium that is leveling. I've literally never been so bored in an MMO before as I was leveling in SWTOR.

There would be nothing wrong with allowing you to start a character at lv.20 or so once you met the required Legacy level. At least let us skip the god awful starting zones that are even more boring than the rest of the lifeless, static worlds.

It's a moot point really, as I have 1 day left on my subscription and will never be returning. Commence your fanboy goodbye responses if you must.

Sadly this is the direction they all MMOs may eventually head because of people whining about "I don't want to go through lvls 1-X again". So devs will start making it so every toon you start will be halfway to cap after the first one.

Then it's only a matter of time before people want it so after you've hit cap on one you can pick at least one more to be at lvl cap without having to actually play it. Then they'll just demand to be given a toon that's at cap because they don't want to deal with lvling anymore they just want to go straight to endgame so they can complain about how it's not enough to eat up their free time.

Make content that isn't cut-and-paste, lifeless, soulless, boring, drab, dull, mundane, and tedious and I wouldn't mind questing through it. I've said it before and I've said it again: PvE in MMO's is a thing of the past. PvP is where it's at.

I've had enough of mindless, boring killing x number of NPC enemies and turning in their eyeballs. How about you throw three factions into a huge starting area, and the first quest you get is "Bring me 5 enemy heads". So you go out, and you PvP to get those enemy heads.

Seriously, PvE is so damn boring and I don't know why people still find it interesting after playing WoW for 7 years. Or any other MMO for that matter. It just boggles the mind.

This isn't a problem with the game... you just aren't into MMOs anymore. I can respect that but PVE in MMO's is a thing in the past for YOU. I've played every major MMO that's been released over the last 10 years and while I do enjoy PVP to an extent I'm still primarily a PVE person.

That said I would be interested in a game that starts as you suggest. That's actually what had me try WAR very briefly as in my experience that's the closest I've seen to what you're suggesting... then I saw how much it sucked. Then there was Aion but meh...

Honestly when I'm in the mood for real PVP I'll turn on my xbox and play Modern Warfare. Everyone's the same... no whining about faction/race/class imbalances... you're either good enough to kill them before they kill you or you're not.

Good thing different people have different tastes.

For all I care PvP could go die in a corner and I wouldn't give a ****.

But whatever floats your boat.

We are a long ways from the 1st expansion. When it is close to that expansion we will then get details.

Uhh, story continuity ya' lame-o.
