Legacy races?

Is there even any speculation at this point as to what the next playable race might be? I'm wanting to start lvling an alt but I don't want to get it lvl'd then find out I'd prefer it if he were whatever that race might be.

Miraluka as a Sith Warrior is all we know.

It sounds like what they will do initially is expand the existing races for the classes you select. Which makes sense.

Actually adding other races to the game WILL happen some time down the road. Which also makes sense. They have not said when though.

Many people simply lack the patience to let an MMO evolve over time. They want instant 100% evolution of the game. Which is silly, because after that would be a supernove wiping out the known galaxy. The good news is the impatient people will leave and go rant and ransack some other game (using the same impatience model), leaving this one to those who understand and accept that MMO play is about evolution of the game over a long period of time.

Not at all... I was just asking for clarification. They have to leave room for entirely new races etc. for expansions.

This is exactly what it will be. Another half-assed attempt by Bioware. My decision to cancel my subscription gets reaffirmed over and over again.

If you are cancelling your subscription over speculation then I feel sorry for you.

But good riddance anyway.
