Well lets see...
Christmas has just gone, the game was launched right before December 20th
(at this point Most players would have bought 60-day gametime cards as The CCard Billing System is so Awful)

So....
  • 1 Standard Star wars: The Old Republic game WITH a Free 30days
  • 60-day gametime card = 90days

This would Last you until March 20th More or Less.

I hear they are releasing the 'Legacy' system at this time(March).
Do you think that this is CLEVER marketing Strategy? or Selfish?

I mean 30 Days AFTER Launch (when CCards are cancelled before they are billed) they make a big thing about how Special the 'FOUNDER' Title is.

right Now its February 19th, I wouldnt expect them to implement new patches or Mention anything new about the game. Why Would They?

But When March 20th Comes (the Month where most of the 60-Day GT subs run out).
I guarantee you guys that, This is when they'll Start Paying a lot more attention to the sales. They will Want to Keep gamers Enticed.

I wouldnt be Suprised if March 20th is the day that the Legacy System would Finally be implemented.

Please Don't Say the Generic cliche... "Oh Other MMO's do that all the time.. its Normal".
Other MMO's didn't make this so Blatantly obvious to see what they are doing.
I expect the patch is going to be a monster in size, and several of the systems they're implementing are going to be huge. Is there some marketing strategy involved? Yes. BioWare is owned by EA, which is a corporation. Corporation, most companies, really, like to make money. Or so I'm told.

I'd also like to say that releasing a huge patch any sooner would like cause a lot of players to go berserk, because of the "large" number of patches already being released so often.

There's certainly no need to don a tin-foil hat to protect yourself from the evil corporation (seems like what your trying to say).

Also, I'm going to assume that CCard means Credit Card. Don't really know what problems you're having with the system, worked fine for me.
This just in: Expanding on an ending no one likes is not improving said ending. A polished turd is still a turd.

Umm no I don't. I think this game should be scraped completely. I don't care what is ready or not, they released the game unfinished as a whole.

Other than that it's just a mediocre game anyway.

What do you mean, 'fell for it'? You actually resubbed just for the title? Now I'm understanding why you seem so hurt.

The title was a reward for re-subbing. I didn't re-sub to get the titles, I re-subbed because I enjoy the game. The title was a bonus.

So, basically, you have nothing useful at all to say and don't care if the game succeeds or fails? Yup, you're definitely the type I'd listen to for advice.

You people are spoiled. I grew up playing Nintendo and SEGA Genesis...and every system from then on and even MS-DOS games like Megaman.
