Well look at that. Another person comparing SWTOR to other MMOs.

Why does every MMO have to be like WoW or Rift etc?

Can't you just enjoy the game for what it is?
A NEWLY released game that already came with a tonne of awesome features. Give SWTOR a year of bug fixes, new content and patches and see what we have.

I'm not denying it has a lot of flaws. I'm saying it's better than most MMOs I've played on release.
Stop comparing it and start enjoying it.

Player A who keeps playing because he likes it?

Player B who's smart enough to realize it's retarded to keep playing a game you don't enjoy.

OR

Player C who keeps playing but complaining nonstop?
I never called you a "biodrone" so I don't really even know why you are addressing this to me.

I said you are constantly making excuses for this game by pointing to games released nearly a decade ago at launch as if that is relevant and telling everyone who has problems with this game to "quit and go play something else".

It is dumb to me. I'm sorry, and I see you doing it everytime i'm on these forums. People know they have the option to quit this game, and they don't need you to remind them of it.

And if you don't like reading "complaining" why do you waltz into a thread that is obviously critical of the game? It makes NO sense.

Yah, planar attunement was pretty cool. I liked how up until recently the choices were permanent... nothing stopped you from grinding out more, but if you sank 800 points into air, and then got, say, matron's axe, oh well. Tuff for you.

I do wish there was some form of AA though.... but the game is still REALLY young for that. I am hoping even more that it is implemented through the legacy system.

Achievements would be incredibly welcome too.... i'm not a huge achievement nut, but it was nice to go after the harder ones.

The lack of solo/farming at level 50 is astonishing. Everything is too easy to obtain and there is very few timesink.
This makes game boring when you are not raiding. PvP is a filler but only for a few people.

Every once in a great while someone actually has something constructive to say... I enjoy those posts. Sadly most of them are just the OP whining about what the game should have instead of going to the suggestion forum and putting it there... and if it's already been put there it shouldn't be in the general discussion forum.

Not only that how does that make any less sense than continuing to waltz into a game that you're not enjoying? Explain how that makes logical sense to me and I'll stop pointing out "if you don't like it quit"

I'm not disagreeing or agreeing with you... but that's the first time I think I've ever heard anyone complain about a lack of a timesink lol

the level cap in every mmo has always been disappointing to me regardless of whatever alternate advancement or rep grinds there are. i can be compelled for a short amount of time by title, vanity pets and mount grinds but they really have to be cool.

Well if you enjoy reading "constructive" comments so much, why don't you try to contribute to this instead of always going around telling people who have issues wtih the game to "quit and go play something else".

Be part of the solution instead of part of the problem.

For me, this game has near-endless entertainment value. 8 seperate storylines, plenty of Flashpoints, MANY datacrons to find and the MMO staple of gear-grinding. The game is in it's MMO infancy. Sure, there are many things that need work, but every MMO can say that two months in. Many changes that people seem to think should have been in-game day one would have increased development time. We probably wouldn't be playing it right now, or maybe even this year! I am perfectly content (for now) with content, and very excited to have a jump on my legacy, gearing, leveling and everything else for when the game really takes off.

Yes, when it takes off.

I have faith.
