1) Snipers in cover have a better knockback than sorcs, unless sorcs are specced into it. A decent operative will use the delay in the sorc's knockback to get into a position where he can't be knocked off a ledge in Huttball for example.

But great job choosing the worst class in the game to make your point.

2) Sniper with a screen up is able to keep most melee away effectively and wouldn't die very easily to a non-stealth melee that can't gap close.

3) A merc and powertech will survive the situations that I described above easier than a sorc. Mercs have a superior non-specced knockback which is able to knock people off ledges/into hazards better than a sorcs.

And powertechs are just pure meat.

I dabbled in some others and spent a lot of time on some text-based games, too.

This is the most imbalanced game I've played in over 5 years (which, for me, is a long time).

My guardian often gets top damage now that he is Battlemaster and geared. He gets a few MVP votes and racks up 1 or 2 solo kills.

My sage at 19 recently got 5 mvps, 3 solo kills, top heals and higher dam than heals in one game. And he's gotten better since. I think my sentinel got a couple mvp votes and top damage once in his 20s but that was when he had a pocket healer.

My only point is that I know what I'm talking about.

By far the most balanced MMO I have ever played, and I have played quite literally just about every MMO of note. Sure there are some "light" tweeks that need to made here and there, but I too destroy everything regardless of the class I'm playing and I'm a serious alt-oh-holic.

Sure.

Make my Sever Force hit like tracer missile and make my AoE force in balance hit like heatseeker buffed and we have a done deal.

A merc have kb, but you have sprint, more stuns, and snare built into your heavy hitting spell. An operative dont have gap closers, but a merc have no get away skills.

your damage hits faster, and your dots hit much faster, your damage hits just as hard as tracer missles over 10 seconds. Why should your aoe hit as hard as a single target skill? Heatseeker have a long cooldown aswell.

You realize he said he thinks SWTOR is the most unbalanced MMO he's ever played, right?

Not to mention the fact that armor does nothing against the majority of the attacks that are being done to you in PVP.

One bubble is not OP, but any fight lasting more than 21 seconds COULD mean an application of 3 bubbles, which would be more than half a sorc's health. Any fight lasting longer than 1 second could mean 2 bubbles, or 7k health. That is significant, and a heckuva lot better than any mitigation you'd be getting in heavy armor.

I think a sprint on a ranged class is a stupid idea when no one else has one besides the other half of the same basic class. I think a sprint + rescue (Extrication) is the stupidest combination of skills I've ever heard of in an MMO.

Love how every QQ sorc thread turns into DON'T NERF ME BRO!

Wonder why that is? Fix the stupid maps first please.

The 'average' sage/sorc I see either does high damage, or high healing. I very rarely see both being high unless we're referencing premades, but that is a whole different ballgame.

That anyone at all playing the class can put out those numbers is enough for the class to be looked at and adjusted. Why play a pure dps class when you can both dps and heal? Why play a pure healer when you can dps too? This doesn't even take in to account the absurd amount of faceroll utility the class has.

Don't get me wrong, I do think that as a class we *can* be one of the most powerful classes in the games, but I'm so sick of the call for nerfs. Nerfing ANY class is silly, instead other classes should be buffed to be brought in line
So the devs should spend thousands of man hours adjusting the world to fit one class as opposed to making a few obviously adjustments to the class itself?

The sprint should be tankspecced shadow/assassin skill only for gap closing mobs, and should be high up in tree so dps cant get it.

..er I don't think you read what he said, he was totally disagreeing with you. I on the other hand agree with you, this is actually a very balanced game and I've played every single one of the MMORPG's he listed. And more.
I know chop-knees.
