Huttball needs to die and be completely replaced

It doesn't matter what specific class requires buffs.

If they are scoring 40% win rate on huttball then the class needs balance for balanced pvp play. You are basically buffing a class cause a pvp map sucks.

Huttball is hands down my favorite warzone...in any MMO. While I do play a couple of ranged classes, I also play a Jedi Shadow (melee).

Every time I feel down about something in game, I always tell myself...well at least there's Huttball. I'd just like for the person(s) who designed it to know: You've made my day...a lot of days.

I like Huttball too. It just needs a little redesign with ramps and such and it will be pretty balanced imo. Namely turning the middle ramps inward I think to reduce the jedi mobility advantage a little.

Leaping is *amazing* in this map. If you're consistently getting knocked back you're just not doing it right. You cannot get knocked back off the platform if you position yourself right and few people have the reaction times to knock you back from a surprise leap. It even immobilizes the target to make it really easy.

Of course, if you try to leap that merc who's turreting you from upstairs, he is watching you with his knockback already planned and ready. Don't use leap for that.

The only class that's really badly gimped at Huttball is Operatives who are squishy melee and have no leap or speed increase. Anyone with leap should have loads and loads of fun at Huttball just with that.

Yup, if you are not having fun playing jedi knight/sith warrior class in huttball that is definition of doing it wrong.

I agree with OP - huttball sucks. OP you will find the same two or three people will dominate your post though with stuff about how they love huttball, how much skill it requires, how unique it is...yada..yada

someone in another post put it best, huttball is a bad version of rugby for lazy cheeseburger munching people.

Not to mention no where at all does it fit into any story line...why am I as republic chasing down and trying to kill fellow jedi and troopers to entertain some hutt?

Hutball is the best warzone I've played in any MMO, hands down. I didn't like it at first but once I reached 50 and learned how to play the game I freakin' love it and not just with my 50.. fun on alts, too.

It can be frustrating though if you're a class that can't jump or have some good move enhancements... but oh well. My mains a powertech and my alt is a Operative.. big changes between classes when it comes to Hutball, still love it on both characters.

If they have rated do you think they should balance classes based on the PVP map pool winrate? If so, are you looking forward to classes 1v1 being buffed because of this map?

I would 3rd this, I would pay a buck or two per month for an option to not play huttball.
