Guild Summit Update

Must be nice, not all of us can just give up a week of work & fork out $$ on top of it, to go yammer at people.

I am pretty underwhelmed by the direction of this game since the beta process.

This guild summit is a fun idea, but theres WAY more pressing matters that they needed to handle internally long ago- players shouldnt be solving the issues for them, it just reeks of them screaming for "help!!!"

whoa whoa whoa when did all of this happen! My guild was not aware of this ...where was the application? ... what the heck we would love to be part of this. Where guild leaders contacted by message? Did they contact second in command in case the leader was indisposed at the time?.... my head is spinning i can't beliee we missed this... i am sooo upset right now!!!

it was posted on their website. There were a select few guilds who were contacted prior to the survey. This was not a public entry though. The public entry was via a survey on this site.

I hope to be able to see this event, but,please,put some Guild Content in now.

We need Guild Email and Guild Gather point and Guild Hall/house or Ship.

BTW, i have a 180 plus member guild, and i wasn't contacted, either.


1) Guild email is essential to communicate Rules,Changes, and Ideas. Please do NOT charge the Guildleader for guild emails. We also need a forwarding email option.

2) Guild Gather point or Guildwaypoint is also critical, to making guilds valuable over lone wolf approach. This could be implemented, like a Fleet pass or bind point, set by Guildleader. It would be easy to code.

3) Guild Hall or Ship, where people can hang out is critical to cementing a community within a guild.

I already attended a summit to improve the game and give feedback. It was called beta testing. Unfortunately, warnings were not heeded, suggestions ignored, and innovative features excised despite uproar. The irony in this is amazing. Hey Bioware, you've got a treasure trove of ideas and improvements in these forums which, by the way, won't cost your company a dime. Put down the fiddle and help put out the fires and maybe people will develop some faith in your community relations.

Perfect example of how the forums doesn't represent at all the whole player base.

This should have been posted in the login screen.

Now if they really want more feedback than the thousands of treads they got during beta they could start sending survey to the people who quit, do the same thing for paying customers and on top of that add polls in game after the login screen.


Question is what is the real goal of the summit?
Do you really think they need more feedback?
Can they really be that clueless of the status of the game?

I may be wrong but I see it a damage control, only.

It is all about priorities. You can't go because I isn't your number one priority, even while filling a job you can call in sick(most places anyways) or you can work more instead, alternatively you could read the OP and conclude that even some of those not present might contribute while watching/using the live stream
