i am sure there will be some dancers or some afkers. That doesn't stop u from trying soloing lonely targets does it? Or u mean u won't be able to find lonely targets? Or u imply that all 7 people from ur team will be afk or dancers? Forget about winning. Play for the kills if ur team goes fail with those that still might try.

I predict a boom in the gear market for stealth classes.

why in rush to do ur dailies? Gear and valor? Even if u get all battlemaster gear then what? quit? i would suggest u quit from right now then...

there is also the possibility to see more of lure tactics too though. Lure players to the dancers, they might be tempted to just join in.

Are they really adding a penalty for leaving? I find this hard to believe because BW should know that alot of people playing dont have top notch everyhting in their computer that allows free roaming gameplay with no lag, problems, ect. I am getting a new graphics card soon, but right now i hvae a HD card with only 512MB on it, I thought this would be more than enough but turns out its not enough for WZs, because i get lagged out all the time, i dont choose to leave it makes me.
I know tons of players who have said the exact thing i have, i even put in a ticket on the issue before i knew hat was wrong and was acknowledged for my problem(though they couldnt do anything about it obviously), so they know this goes on. I dont understand why they would add the penalty just knowing this information alone. Not to mention there are plenty of other good reasons not to add a penalty.
If they do add it im glad im ordering a new grraphics card today, so i dont have to worry about it as much.

your reasoning has a seccondary value for market. Sad but true. Most people ain't playing on a ****** pc so maybe u got to think that u might belong(or was belong) to that minority. Thus that reasoning won't change anything.

Literacy for the win, but you get points for using technically and feasible. Those are big words. I said that in my post. I think the debuff would still be sufficient deterrent to most people. I know I run with more than just swtor being connected to the internet, so I would view pulling the plug as a more restrictive option. It's still something. Again, they've figured it out in the game this one was based on, what's the big deal?

I'm not saying they'll change it, but in my opinion, before implementing a penalty, they should change it. Either by making a fast win worth more than a slow win (which has it's own problems and might also frustrate losing teams because they won't get to ignore objectives and farm medals anymore) or by trying for closer matching.
Agreed under the umbrella that this game is inherently imbalanced, the medal rationalisation is a joke, you can get rewarded for not being instrumental in winning the objective. Alas this is a game based on code and code does not recognise, flair, tactics or in my case, good looks.

Well 1 i def dont have a **** pc, it might not be haxxor l337 omgzzzzrofl good but it is gateway that i ordered spec for gaming. SWTOR relies alot more on GPU rather than cpu like most games, hich requires are a really good graphics card. I feel very comfortable saying the majority of players do not have top of the line computers, and ive seen multiple people in just this thread alone say the exact same thing as me, that they get kicked out of WZs all the time, u even asked one of them how often it happens.

I understand why people cry about it and would request this, but people cry about everything in the game. Theres always going to be crying no matter what they change. I just dont like the idea of penaltys for a problem that alot of the time players cant help. Im not even going to have this problem in a few dayhs but i still stick by my reasoning for this either way.
but this is my opinion, i understand both sides

Good points. Still, closer matchmaking would help. Anyway, if code starts recognizing good looks, I'm never going to win another warzone.
