If people are so clueless that they have derailed any effort to make pvp competitive i'll leave the zone. im not going to get farmed for 10 minutes. just because some noobs dont know how to play their own class or understand basic concepts of teamwork.
Just bringing you back to your own point, it was essentially "I will leave if the match is not competitive because of bad players", but "if the bad players are not on my team, I will still play and let the other team leave"

I am not arguing for the sake of arguing, I feel none of your points actually hold any ground, and I don't feel any amount of hours PvPing can justify if you are a good or bad player, and 3 hours in no way even comes close to a justification anyway, I feel ratings are needed to judge good and bad players, but even then people can be carried, the point is you have no right to judge other players and assume you are better than them just because you have a premade or won a chain of warzones.

And I am done here, I've made my point more than clear, enjoy your day
If you've got the credits, you've got yourself a deal.

1) people are leaving even the games where their team is leading, just because they have been destroyed in 1v1 fight and they didn't like it...it is possible that the loosing team gets the lead because they have a advantage in manpower for a short time...

2) we were loosing 0-3 after only 3 minutes in Huttball and at least 7 players left...we turned it to 3-3 in the last minute and managed to hold the ball till the end, winning the game...that was a legendary win, and the losers who left early never experienced it...sucks to be them tbh

I want to weigh in on this one:

No, I don't quit. But I try to finish the game or get my team to finish it. They never want to, though. Ever tried carrying the ball for that final point and suddenly the useless team on the other side wakes up and stops you (because even though they're losing they're still farming) and your team doesn't protect you? Squish.

The game is set up to encourage farming by rewarding it. I think it was a mistake to do it that way. Now if you don't farm (knowing you were the one getting farmed last game and will probably be getting farmed in the near future) you're just cheating yourself out of medals you finally could have gotten. I don't like that setup.

I also however see potential problems (particularly win trading issues) with setting it up so that a faster win means more rewards.

but I am better than other players just as some players are better than me, and I have every right to say that. thats the nature of the beast. and pvp rankings are going to show this.

Believe it or not SWTOR is inherently imbalanced, so any debate along those grounds is moot. Hello all WZ can include players with barely any abilities against those with gear and their full compliment. Classes in MMOs will always be imbalanced because not every player is the same. Some like classes that are fast and furious and edgey. some like to stand back and shoot lightning.

So now we've got that gabble out of the way it's simply about gameplay and individual opinion. I have taken everything into consideration and my judgement is there should be no penalty, people are entitled to do what they want, and frankly I don't want quitters in my warzone, for me there is no sweeter victory than a comeback, I may face premades however it makes any sorc that dies by my thirty something all the sweeter.

My answer to those who do not have to justify anything, although posting in a forum seems to point out that you're trying to, get a premade and your dreams will come true. If you pug it, grow pug melons. If you want your game the way you want it go play Dragon Age no-one will bother you there.

Once they do cross server, there is no justification whatsoever for telling people who enjoy pugging to deal with the premades or quit.

I'm not saying they'll change it, but in my opinion, before implementing a penalty, they should change it. Either by making a fast win worth more than a slow win (which has it's own problems and might also frustrate losing teams because they won't get to ignore objectives and farm medals anymore) or by trying for closer matching.

Sometimes u got to accept a defeat. If u are good player but ur team sux while the other team has more good players and better team work means that u gona be defeated. Accept the defeat, i am sure that ur fail team will recognize ur efford if u try and vote for you.
By leaving warzone means u are a coward and a bad looser. Learn to accept defeat even if it's not your fault and u will enjoy the game even more.
Besides if ur team is that bad the warzone will end much sooner no matter what warzone u play. If u play huttball and they scored 5-0 and they just starting farming enemy team, then try to follow a group of 2-3 or avoid combat till the game ends.
It sux for me to enter a game that is already 2-0 4 mins before the end and that because someone is a bad looser and pressed leave warzone. I still staying on the warzone and testing my character while i try to follow a group of 2-3 and support the attack even if they don't do much for the ball.

So the answer is: start accepting that u can't always win.

3 cap on Alderaan? Yeah.. not going to wait 8 minutes for a guaranteed loss and 30 commendations along with 600 valor. When the team is already dropping and cycling through doomed players I can't even go forward to get medals (since I'm a juggernaut, nobody wants to team up and let me farm medals off of him)

When the enemy team 5 scores within the first 2 minutes of Huttball, and our team gives up and starts having a dance party -- no, not going to waste anymore time there.

Voidstar is probably the only warzone I'll stay in, because its guaranteed medals for my class. It has gotten to the point where I hardly have fun doing warzones, I simply do them to get gear for the future. I'm being hopeful that there will be a higher incentive for random WPvP.
