Yay - let's get the community to do the work we should've done 5 years ago and had ready to go at launch!

Yeah, you can say that.

I read you on that.

We all know how they managed the past. The real question is, did they learn anything at all?

For now we can give them the benefit of the doubt, but after this event it will be another story.

The summit will certainly give us some clues. Oh no, not in the way of hyperbolic buzz words but in how it's said, on what they are focusing, and more important on what they are not speaking about or avoiding to answer directly.

Stay tuned for the future of TOR will be decided in the next few days.

Ok but they are invite GUILD leaders. So I assume the questions will be guild related and ways they can improve guild functionality, activities and obviously raids and pvp since that is what you do with a guild. I would say crafting but Bioware hates crafting.

Yep.

A common theme in MMOs is that after launch they begin to work out what content adds they want to make in support of guilds.

The best place to get feedback for this would be from guild leaders. Certainly not from the "dogs breakfast" of QQ, whines, and rants in general forum.

The QQ over the guild summit rivals even the most massive QQs since launch.
When you find yourself surrounded by hostile Clowns... always go for the "Juggler" first.

One of the big things I want to discuss while I am there is crafting. I honestly think that while guild support will be a large topic, myself and others have many questions concerning non-guild related issues. When I applied I was polite but defiantly stated that there were issues that needed to be resolved if SWTOR was going to continue to be successful.
Define "interesting."

Why oh why do you always throw back to Blizzard for customer support? Their customer support team blows. It could even be the WORST in the industry.

I would like to see steps be made to choose a parlament for the game, with represenatives that are community elected to refer our questions to, so they could interface more closely with the Development team. That would allow the ability to sort out the constant QQ nonsense and actually get some legitimate work done here. Unless of course we intend on having a guild summit every three months? That seems impractical at best.

I will be watching and hold out for hope that the people who are going will be intelligent about the gift they are being given instead of spend a long time QQing about things that are not going to change any time soon.

Peace *much love to my beloved Bloodfin players, where ever you are*
“service quality, as perceived by consumers, stems from a comparison of what they feel service firms should offer (i.e., from their expectations) with their perceptions of the performance of firms providing the services. Perceived service quality is therefore viewed as the degree and direction of discrepancy between consumers' perceptions and expectations.”

Ok, while they enthusiasm is great you really should work on your grammar. I was barley able to follow what was typed. I'm not trying to bash you so please don't think i am. Just wanted to let you know that most people will start to read what you said and then stop after the first few sentences because they can't understand what your trying to say.

Now on topic, i think the summit is a good idea to get a feel for what the concerns are for a lot of the guilds out there and they'll be able to avoid a lot of the QQ that clouds up the fourms. Let's just hope we get some good answers and not 'Soon™' ; ).
