So everyone on your team already pays dearly for your faulty hardware, why should you?

You seriously leave every third game that you successfully start the match in and don't crash out of? I think it would be best for everyone if you just avoid playing warzones. I suspect there are a lot of people who you are unaware you are griefing on your side.

I leave wz´s, but not because my team is losing (i can always collect valor, xp and comendations) but because the game doesnt lemme choose which one i actually want to play.

I cant say with words how much I HATE HUTTBALL, i effing DONT ENJOY PLAYING THAT BS of a map.

I want to play civil war, voidstar, but nooooo....6 out of 10 wz´s guess what: huttball, with our beloved giradda the hutt and his minions with annoying voice.

I cant hear "FROG DOGS TO FROG DOGS, NICE AAASS!!!" anymore or "LETS GO BEEEEEEERSEEEEEEEEEERK".

Serioulsy, i dont mind ATT ALL LOSING GAMES, thats what gaming is: winning and losing, but LEMME CHOOSE WHICH ONE I WANT TO ACTUALLY PLAY, BIOWARE!!

I'm sure come Rated PvP when your Guild selects you, you will know how to fight back when 400-300 down in Alderaan because you have the skill, mental strength, and strategic know how to lead the team to victory because you have experienced overcoming these hurdles before...

Right?

TH

Alderaan is broken, end of.

The side-speeders need removing or need to take a few more laps of the WZ instead of the current insta-spawn you next to the node. That spawn spot is like a clown-car and I've thrown geared pre-mades at a spot w/ healers. You kill one, their friend has already popped up again, whilst you're killing them the first one is back ... and on, and on. Taking a side turret is blind luck and requires no skill nor tactics.

Skill in SWTOR? Aside from the Marauder class, which one can't you get consistent 300K DMG a match by mashing buttons?

Rated-WZs ... when teams group up and get CC-spam down to an exact science ... ? Rated WZs will mean about as much as the COD leaderboards.

The only mental strength you need is to be able to play the same 3 WZs for hundreds of times over using classes that require no skill to overcome the boredom.

1 - I got a new rig recently but if someone is dropped due to their hardware I'm not such a silly little brat as to hold a grudge. These things happen, it's only a game.

2 - If the team is losing, it's assuming they were losing WITH a full team then people/ a person quit. Why is it the newcomers RESPONSIBILITY to 'even the score'? And the fact is that new people CAN be thrown into the game, you're not stuck with a man/woman-down.

3 - When has Alderaan ever been every1 in 3 WZs? I get Alderaan once every 15 if that and I'M going to start quitting if they don't fix their insta-spawn side-turret mess of a map, soon.

I don't blame people who do quit early, though, and now I'm over R60Valor I'll probably end up doing it more and more.

I can emphasise with you, though, about awful team-mates. Had one guy the other night who simply couldn't call out that he needed help defending a turret (side) in Alderaan and we ended up losing turrets twice because of it and it almost happened a third time!

I disagree with all the BS debuff sentiments.

It punishes a lot of people who have connectivity issues or are regularly glitched and stuck in spawn after a death. It doesn't punish AFKers (no, we need a vote kick system that'd be abused) and doesn't solve anything.

Overall, I'm kind of looking for the next thing that frustrates me before I say bye to TOR entirely. I enjoy the game for the most part, but people can cap their toon way too quickly, end gear is thrown at them and the end-game is bleak.

Appreciate that it's early days but when around 25% of accounts already have 1 or more L50s that's a worrying stat. Should be more in the 5% region who are those who've spent night and day levelling. Way too quick, faction imbalances are going to be a chronic problem and a debuff for BS programming glitch is going to be the last straw for a lot of people.

It's a game.

If someone wants to leave, let them. The match-making throws someone else in anyways, and most people leave when it's going to be a guarenteed loss that their staying wouldn't have altered anyways.
You are gonna leave more warzones cause you hit valor "soft" cap?lol i can understand people leaving cause they want wins to grid faster etc etc but you?

You know that the guy in alderan wont call incs,go there def with him instead,or just shoo him away, there is always something to be done! What i hate most in alderan is people yelling: Waaaaa you left west turrent undefended, while themselves are zerging mid!

you are a good reason to leave a warzone tho, should be added

My opinion on the worst players in a warzone:

Worst: The AFKers who just stand in a corner, simply taking up a spot

Next: The people who keep quitting out of warzones just because they don't like the map, that they have some level 10s, that one of their team members is a new level 50, that there are too many clouds in the sky, ect. They leave a empty spot until we get a replacement and that new person gets out to the front lines.

I'd hate to punish people for faulty hardware, but there are far, far more quitters then people who regularly lose internet connection.

If penalties are given then people will just hang around in the warzone semi AFK or just camp the left turret.

Some people are quitters and if they want to quit let them.

Dont force someone that has given up to continue to play while someone else is qued up back at fleet.

Alderaan is totally broken holding left and right is guaranteed victory pretty much,

And I don't quit cuz im losing, I quit when i'm the only one trying.

In other words, if its a hard fought battle, and the game ends 0-1, that was a good game.

But if no one is trying what is the point ?

Yeah, when I join a huttball match already in progress, it's 0-3 with ten minutes left, and our catwalks are covered in Sorcerers and Bounty Hunters, there's very little reason for me to hang around and see how the game turns out.

If you leave the WZ early, there should be a lockout....15-30 minutes would be appropriate. It works.
