Huh? Where in heavens name you got these numbers? When I get off work the servers don't say light. Stop making stuff up.

We're in a period of high sales (TOR was #3 in the UK PC sales chart last week), and yet server pops are stable/marginally negative.
TOR wasn't even in the TOP 40 in the US for the week of 2/4. That's concerning.

I have a feeling they lost a good number of subs this month. I cancelled a little over 3 weeks ago and now nobody in my guild is left. It was a small guild (~10) but we were all serious raiders and longtime MMO players. It can't just be us.

However, any losses from Jan/Feb will probably get overshadowed by new box sales next month.

Sorry to burst your GW2 bubble.

And with the b2p model, how often do you really think new content will be added?

(I only bring this up because you think SWTOR's end game is all there is.)
GW2 doesn't have "traditional" end game. It has no "raids". What is has is early game instances that will go in "Story" mode which will include CS, cinematics, VOs, etc. Then there will be exploration mode which will be the more challenging mode.

And there is content and dynamic events throughout the entire game. Not just at the beginning. So I don't know where you're getting that random notion from. There will be an entire zone that will be WvWvW that will be accessible to everyone. There will be complete underwater zones that will have their own dynamic events where there will be an entirely different weapon system and moves system.

There will be plenty of stuff to keep everyone busy from beginning to end. Also, with the side kick system new players can join more veteran players and vice versa.

I personally believe the game will do well. I am holding out though until I actually get my hands on it before I go full fanboi for it though. I've been too disappointed too many times in the recent years to fall into the hype-cicle.

If by "no endgame" you really mean "you don't have to wait to max level to do all the interesting PvP, dungeons, and dynamic event content" then yeah, GW2 has "no endgame."

And this is ONE Guild Wars supporter I would actually listen to because he's going to wait till he gets his hands on to pass judgement.

During development of this game I semi followed. I voiced my hope for a non trinity based system among other things. As BioWare released information about the game I made a decision if I was going to try the game or not. After playing it and am currently having fun I'm going to point out the good. I agree there are some bad but most I believe are blowing it out of proportion. I'm also willing to give the devs time to address these issues because no proper fix can happen overnight.

When I am no longer having fun or believe the devs are not trying to address issues I'm gone. Not gonna announce it, not going to troll the forums. I'm just going to be gone and done with it. Right now they are working on stuff and it is obvious. It may not be at the speed some want but they ARE working on stuff. So for now they will get my support.

3 months? The non-MMO players that like Scifi will probably switch to ME3 when it comes out in a few weeks... the rest is gone when GW2 comes out. The players that remain are the hardcore SW fans. Swtor won't die but it will take a major hit.
People that can buy the game now but didn't will probably never do so. If they expand they'll get some subs back though.

My biggest issues with TOR are more about its foundation than anything else.

1) Global Cool down(Not the bugs or the looks) But the 1.5 second CD on everything. The cinematics of moves that don't allow clipping of moves. The locked in to what you started. If something is instant you have to wait 1.5 seconds to do anything else. This bothers me more than any bugs or issues that I've had to deal with.

2) Gear above skill - This game for the foreseeable future will be gear based.

3) Draw distance - Reminds me of WAR's draw distance where anything that was outside of your "grass growing bubble" turned into game and watch type graphics. If you look at a jedi that swings their saber around from distance you only see about 8 points of the full rotation when you get in closer it's 100x smoother. It was like in WAR horse legs only moved to about 4 positions at distance.

4) Seems to be taking the flash over substance approach.(Opinion)

Oh I dissagree. Players who have never played an mmorpg who were attracted to the star wars license and bioware name made up a huge portion of the launch playerbase.
