I have had early access since yesterday and every time I go to load the game I get to the server selection screen and it is a black square.

I have re-installed the game

I have repaired the launcher

I have allowed the game in my firewall

I have the required ports open

I have run all the .exe files in admin mode

It worked fine the beta weekend, and now it won't work when it actually matters.

Anyone else have this problem or know of any fixes???

TrusticlesMcgee where are you playing? At the moment in France we have exactly the same problem and its caused by the internet provider BOUYGUES TELECOM. Nobody with a Bouygue box can access the server selection, empty list.
We want to make Bioware/EA aware of this problem and try to solve it before thousands of players cant access the game...

Hello TrusticlesMcgee,

It can sometimes take a few minutes for the server list to populate.

You should try removing and re-adding the firewall exceptions for SWTOR.exe.

If you use traffic management software like Peer-Blocker, this can sometimes interfere with or block the game from connecting to the servers. If you have programs like this running then you can try disabling them to see if it resolves the issue.

For other related troubleshooting suggestions, please see here.

I hope this helps.

I am in the US using Comcast. I tried to remove from the exception list nothing happened, also I have left the list open for almost 45 minutes at a time and nothing was happening.

Bump. I am on comcast as well and am having this same issue. I have tried everything short of a reinstall of the whole game. I did enter my product registration code before logging in tonight, but I am not sure if that is related.

Hi guys,

If you are still experiencing this issue, please try running the 'Repair' utility on the launcher.

I hope this helps.

I had this issue and tried the various 'solutions' suggested.
What finally populated it was when I opened the CSR ticket window from the server screen, and search for something.. then it "Magically" appeared in the background.
(This was of course before the Queues)
Mitigation 1: Let us queue from the launcher.
Mitigation 2: Let us queue for one server while we play on another
Mitigation 3: Let us play our character on any server, lock the guilds to a specific one.
