Thank you to all of the guild leaders who submitted applications to attend the first Guild Summit in Austin. We are currently reviewing guild applications and will be responding back to everyone who applied in the next few days.

For those who are unable to attend the Guild Summit for one reason or another, we’re very happy to announce that we will be providing a livestream of select events during the Guild Summit, including developer presentations and feedback discussions. These livestreams will allow players from around the world to observe and participate in some of the event discussions as well. As a reminder, the Guild Summit will be conducted in English, but anyone can join in on the livestream regardless of their location. If you can’t watch the livestream during the Summit, we’ll also be publishing videos of the panels after the event has ended. As we get closer to the event, we’ll provide more details for how you can get involved. Stay tuned!

Please tell me you will be using Justin/Twitch.TV to stream. While Livestream is decent, the quality can be pretty bad. I have seen MLG/ESL (SC2) matches of 30,000 people live on a single stream and the quality was at 720p. Now most of that has to do with your up speed and how good the hardware is.

You can also store the streams on your Justin.TV page for future viewing. During E3 last year, the recordings were only up for a limited time, which was annoying for those who did not get to see them or wanted to view them later.

You can also store the streams to a site called blip.tv I have seen a lot of webcasts be posted there though you do have your own site to store videos on, so that may be unnecessary.

Good I cant wait to hear what going on.

Also on a side note hope a fellow sniper is their to talk about how were not a dps class compaired to a BH or TR hope to hear about some loving coming our way.

Also about guild ships what should we be stocking up on.

Having the guild summit is fine but you developers (or at least someone in direct contact with the developers) need to have a more active appearance on the forums.

There are so many fantastic and well written posts that bring up questions that really deserve answers.

Having a forum presence at least lets the player base know that you understand a problem exists.

Take a note from Blizzard who has an EXCELLENT community management team.
