I challenge anyone who says they are against this to switch to the republic (c'mon we all know you play Imps), level to 50, and see how much fun they have. If they think they want to quit now, just wait till you do that, you'll really want to leave.
My friend rolled Imperial...why on earth would I want to play Republic in that case? So I can prove you wrong? It's not worth my time.

Well gg if Cross server LFG comes in say goodbye to gear drops thanks to people needing just for companions or generally being a dick.

Salva is speaking the truth. It sucks but it's the reality for far too many Republic players.
not just republic PCs but also empire PCs,
cause we are not in american time zone,
and our server is near empty in our primary time,
so lots of us re-roll on another loading full server.

You mean like...currently?
Anyway there are easy fixes for that. Secondly, you are not forced to use the tool. Use your friend/guild list, unless they all are being ***** rolling on items for companions...

You won't have to worry about gear. With the current content the average random pug won't down the first boss.

A LFG tool is completely useless unless you make the content easily done by the average pug.

By average pug I mean: No vent, no communication, no CC, undergeared, never done the fight before, can't focus fire, doesn't manage agro, doesn't listen even if anybody bothered to explain the fight, etc.

Scared of proving me right.

Like I said, all the people against this are Imperial.

If you and your "friend" were Republic, you'd be singing a different song. Just as long as you get what YOU want: a large player base, a good economy with lots of stuff to buy and sell on the GTN, and lots of people do do FP's and PVP with, why should you care about the other faction, right?

If it bothers you so much, don't use it. Just put your own groups groups together and ignore the LFG feature, after all no one is MAKING you use it. But don't come in here whining that it's not needed, because if you knew the other side of the game you'd realize that yes, it is needed.

Isn't getting a group together through gen chat just like a random pug? I have yet to use vent for a regular FP from a chat made group. And yeah even people on my server that I join at random can't cc, don't know focus fire or manage aggro....

Don't really see a whole lot of difference. Just because you get a group randomly through chat doesn't mean everyone is some how pro.

The only way to guarantee a good knowledgeble group is not PUG and only use friends/guildies at all regardless of the system that makes a group.
