I love both sides. I have a 50 Sniper and a 49 Consular. My server has less people on the Republic side, but they seem to be better players overall. It's really awesome as that is what it was like in the movies. The Rebellion had less people but they were better!

I got tired of all the Sith kiddies on Empire who would go into an emo rage fit if you decided to play a light sided character even though you already have one dark sided one. LOL YOU CANT BE LIGHT SIDE ON SITH DURPPPPPP. Where as I noticed on Republic, there are both light and dark sided players and they seem to get along just fine. Plus I find my Dark Sided Smuggler to be much more exciting than my Sith Warrior was.

I know a few peeps that went pure Light side on the Sith Empire with their BH. In Republic my friend has a dark side Scoundrel. I do agree however that everyone and their mother expects you to be Dark Side at least on Sith Empire. I mean it makes sense but it's not mandatory.

I've already run across two story lines in JK that involve a Sith turning to the Light Side. This is apparently as regular an occurrence in the Republic story lines as Jedi going rogue or Dark Side in the Empire story lines. Anyone who is going to give you a hard time or won't play with you because of the freaking side you are rolling in your story missions quest is a buffoon and you shouldn't waste your time even responding to their /tells.

We have a Republic Spy! KILL!!!!" but I really couldn't care less. Then again people look at my gunslinger funny when I choose to suck those Mandalorians out of the air lock.

All my Empire chars are light side, although to be fair, Republic is my main faction..I just can't bring myself to be that much of an ******e, it's a game yes, but it feels wrong to me, I love back chatting sith lords and insulting Imperials. It's always communities that ruin games...

Switched to Jung Ma which I heard was a better Republic PvP server. Sure the people are nice and theres 150 in Fleet now. But hardly any mats on GTN and queue times for WZs are longer than my Imps. I seriously dont care if its Huttball 99% of the time. Some PvP is better than NO PvP.
