I created a different character on a more populated server. I left my first character on the low pop server, just in case the population ever started to increase.

Why should the majority suffer to appease a few?

For those of you on low pop servers, I support the ability for a server transfer. I do not however support the killing of a games community because you refuse to socialize with the few people that are on your servers.
cute , you think those people are the minority when they are the majority.Very few people are whiling to restart their now lvl 50 charater on a different server because their server is dead; most will just quit. Cant wait for the upcoming Cross-Server LFD .

There is nothing solid in that. The community element should never be mandatory for players to experience the content. Including group content. In 2012 with weird schedules, that's not realistic.

if you refuse to restart, then wait on the server transfer option that everyone knows is coming, stand around on your dead server and troll the forums all you like while the rest of us have fun in our thriving server communities and get groups with little to no effort without a LFD cross server tool.

in your words, this is a "cute" attempt at a troll though.

Jerks will be jerks with or without a tool that makes actually playing the game more convenient.

says the person whining on a community forum about how there should be no community in a community orientated game?

yeah ok.

if its not solid, be my guest to systematically tear it apart.

We already responded to that nonsense.

Nonsense. Stop trolling. Prove that it is a community oriented game or shut up.

Facts:
Bioware announced in 2009 that this game would also be for working dads with limited playtime who can't sign for countless hours of chat just to experience the content. A cross server tool is the continuity and the solution for them.
- there is no social games.
- there is no community efforts required outside of group PvE content.

- stop trolling. you don't know what you are talking about.

We don't need a tool that will make you so lazy you won't even move your character from GTM after logging in, we need a tool to make looking for group easier, like a global LFG chanell that you join, a clearly visible window with other people looking for groups.

If dungeon finder gets implemented so soon it will absolutely destroy ToR. It will make the game boring and forums will be full of whines like "I have nothing else to do in ToR except doing FPs", and that's because they are actually too lazy to get out of the Fleet, they just press the damn button because that's the easiest thing to do.

I can live with Dual Spec, but I will not be able to live with Dungeon Finder for lazy "I only have a couple of hours a week" players that clearly picked the wrong game to play if they don't have time for it.

And some people wouldn't not press Dungeon Finder either way, because they don't want to do them anyway. You'd still wait in a queue for ages. it's about people not the tool they are given. I remember trying to look for some groups and I remember that I whispered ALL people at my level on the server, none of them wanted to go. You think a LFD would change their mind? I honestly doubt it.
